We are down anyway. I'm sure if we were pushing for promotion they'd have given it to Bannan or soneone else.

I think we will get a much better owner this time (though let's be honest most would be better than the last idiot). Though how much investment and ambition they will have just feels like a lottery. We need tens of millions ploughing into the training facilities and stadium to drag them into the modern era. As ever we'll just have to wait and see. I for one will get behind the new owner, we really have no choice.

The club will have the culprit on CCTV so I doubt he'll be coming back either hopefully. -

For the EFL this is the aim - absolute punishment if you are an owner that breaks the rules. They care not about the actual competition itself. Or the fans. -

The derby disaster has played a big part in this. That derby really did matter. -

Not surprised. A lot of the stewards are as much use as a chocolate fire guard. -

I saw them wondered what that was all about. -

Any new owner would have looked into attendances and know that they aren't going to sell out the stadium at the moment. We are a 'distressed asset' that needs investment but the rewards are huge for them if they do. -
Don't tempt them!

The new owner might have to accept there won't be much matchday income from tickets for the rest of the season. The kiosks will still do well. Got served pretty quick today so they getting that right. -

I get what you say but it was painful again today. Freezing cold and losing again at home. Plus after the shambles of losing by a record score to the pigs. Weary doesn't fully describe it. Maybe there'll be a boost with the new owner but this season is dead. I can't blame anyone for not going.- 62 replies

There's a lot riding on the new owner. Hope we get lucky this time. We are due some. They have to have a long term plan as there are no short term fixes. We are in a decayed state.

Lots Of Effort...

Thought the team was brilliant in the first half. Then tired in the second. Preston seemed bang average to me. -
It's chalk and cheese the positions both clubs are in. I'm amazed we got 22k considering the state we are in. Can't blame anyone for not turning up. We keep losing at home and the season is dead.

Me neither. This is why I can't see him buying us. -

I think this is a key point. If Ashley becomes owner he will HAVE TO put money into the club to get ANYTHING back. This is because we have nothing except our loyal fanbase left. The squad is bare bones. Stadium decaying. 1980s standard training facilities. Soon to be L1.
