It's time to boycott everything now.
That's all away games and all home games (even the derby).
What choice do we have? We are dead in the water.
The EFL won't save us and the Regulator doesn't even have any actual powers yet! It's like a dry fart.
Sounds to me like the EFL asked the Trust to be ready to either buy the club (obviously with fans/donors paying in considerably) or set up a phoenix club.
I guess the EFL has zero belief Chancer can survive either.
Keiran Maguire said in the recent WTID podcast that there is now some opposition in Westminster towards the regulator from certain parties. Where as before there was almost universal backing, now it's political ammo.
I'm no expert but from what I have picked up on this, only directors can put a company into administration. As Chansiri is the sole owner then only he could and there's fat chance of him doing that.
Ok, so that sounds like they have no powers until thats done.
I get people are optimistic but for me I'd rather keep a level head and see what actually happens.
"We're now looking to get powers..."
If you are 'looking' for powers, it's fair enough to assume you don't have any.
Why would you look for powers if you already have them?
"But Kogan stressed that forcing owners to sell clubs would be treated as a "last resort" and the regulator would prefer to work with them."
Oh dear. He obviously knows nothing about Chansiri.
