  1. I really can't get too depressed about not selling seats in front of them scrubbers. Fact is, if those seats were in the North stand they'd have sold.
  2. Get in that ring and pick that towel up.
  3. Don't come a knockin, When the club shop is a rockin, He means the one in town, But were the shutters down.
  4. Oh ye of little faith. Build it and they will come.
  5. They are closed bids but he did say they can go back to the people who've been outbid, tell them have been outbid and ask them if they'd like to up their bid.
  6. I see 1914 left to sell. Apart from those tickets, how many seats haven't been released yet? Also, If I was a potential buyer, looking at the attendance on a week night, bonfire night, kids schooling etc not to mention being bottom of the league on negative points I'd be pretty impressed with the 30K we look like getting. And what about Norwich? They have some contribution to make don't they. Not be many though I suppose.
  7. Now I may have missed this somewhere along the line but I have to ask, is this process of finding a new owner a matter of closed bids. For example everyone sends a bid in and the best candidate is chosen from these secret bids. Or, are we into a bidding war? An auction in effect.
  8. Well we have secured creditors of which New Avenue are one, and as far as I know the only one. So they get paid their £8m. Then we have football debts, which is specific to football and if a club were to default then there'd be repercussions from the EFL in respect of and specific to football. Then we have the unsecured creditors, which the HMRC are one although they're probably top of the tree amongst these. It'll all cum art int wesh anyhow I expect.
  9. The £8m is a secured debt against the stadium, so they'll get that. Unsure what the administrators bill will be but doubt it'll be £1.5m. The rest are as far as I'm aware, are unsecured creditors so they could get 10%. The 25% you speak of is a figure the EFL made up, it isn't a must have. If it turns out less than 25% we have to take a hit with points. The £10m bid, if true, which I doubt, would at least secure the future of the club so shouldn't be frowned on. Good starting point, bring on the heavyweights.
  10. Not elephants. Or showers. Now I might be imagining things, but I perceive that I see some of these young players we have improving exponentially, the more time they have playing in the senior squad. Yep, I understand it goes without saying, but the improvement I see is pronounced. Take Fusire for instance, a couple of weeks ago I had my head in my hands and thinking WTF. I've done an about turn with him in not too long a space of time, he's starting to look a decent player, and good luck to him and us. Shame some of the other young lads are struggling with injuries, some I'd expect via the added burden of playing senior football. Looking forward, to such a time, it may be we're in a position to use some of these golden minutes on other young playing staff should it become obvious we're going to be relegated. Whatever did happen to the elephants BTW, and is it Fuse-ire, Fuse-eer, Fuss-Ire-Ee, Fuss-ire. Answer in comments please, and keep it civil.TIA.
  11. Well you can't see the game or what's actually happening on the pitch, which makes them more expensive.
  12. That was quality. Can't wait for the charity elephant auction. Laugh a minute that'll be.
