I didn’t want to dwell on that one too much but yeah, they have two final chances to avenge Boxing Day and this is the prime one. After this season the next time we see them we won’t be a wounded animal for once.

There are quite a few contributing factors IMO: 1 price of tickets 2 comparison price of tickets for following games 3 what happened last year with the bottles etc. 4. time of the match When tickets go on sale to the general public they are often snapped up by mums or dads with kids. Why pay 80 quid for one game which is on the tv when you can watch it for free instead of having to cancel Sunday morning football, especially when you can go to the next game for 30 quid. 5. The time of the year. This is without factoring in that many fans have spent big in the shop and maybe even donated on here or to the trust. it also doesn’t factor in the fact we have - in my opinion- only 4 championship quality players in the squad and that we will likely get mullered. I’m surprised we have sold as many. In fact having read all of that I might send mine back. it’s a great effort as far as I’m concerned. sitting in the LLL is a big factor.

I totally understand the sentiment of this and our day is coming soon. In the meantime we need to brace ourselves because I don’t think this will be a close game. I have watched a couple of their games where they have played well but not got the results. They are far better than us. Yes their defence is poor but not as poor as our forward line. By my reckoning we have 4 championship standard players who can play on Sunday. They will kick off with 11 and have another 5 on the bench. That’s the difference. I’ll be happy if they don’t avenge BDM this season because it is their last chance and we have been a sitting duck since 2018.

I wouldn’t worry about it , this is the last of the old price structure matches. In the new prices you can probably take him to two games for less than the price of this one.

If I am reading this right, you want to buy an adult and a child ticket for less than it’s face value when there are still tickets on sale?
