  1. In those World Cup plans, what location would the away supporters be located in league games?
  2. Did either Hillsborough or Bramall Lane apply to host matches though?
  3. Is there a particular reason football clubs get sanctions if they are late in paying HMRC?
  4. There seems to be many on here calling for a new stadium that can hold concerts as well as football to bring in extra revenue. How many concerts have been held at Premier League stadiums in the last 10 years? Has there been any at Anfield, St James Park, Elland Road, Villa Park, to name a few. The few bands that can sell out stadiums will stick to Wembley, Manchester and Glasgow, they have the transport links including airports, Sheffield does not. There may be the odd band that would do other stadiums, but they are few and far between.
  5. The link to the Star article not working.
  6. Prospective next Sheffield Wednesday owner holds new stadium talks - future away from Hillsborough considered
  7. That's a definite no; it's already being built on by the university. It's part of the Advanced Manufacturing facility.
  8. How many times has it flooded in the last 50 years?
  9. You will get more action on muck Hub than watching that shower of poo .
  10. We would be different; you need to look at the wider picture. The economy as a whole in Sheffield is dire, and miles and miles behind cities like Manchester and Leeds. I believe that Sheffield has more people earning the minimum wage than any other large city in the country. Add to that the number of working age people who are inactive in this city, it's no wonder vast numbers of people in Sheffield just don't have the money to spend on things like football.
  11. Don't think it's anything to do with the administrators. Their sole job is to temporary run the club until it is sold and bring in as much money as possible, to run the club on a day-to-day basis.
  12. Sorry video not showing just watch on Youtube, full match v Arsenal.
  13. If we go down, it will be interesting to see the average attendance next year compared to the last time we were in league 1. Comparing the 2 will be a good barometer as to how many fans we have or haven't lost. There could be a number of local derby's next year in league 1 which should keep the crowds up, hopefully.
