    We had that under Carlos, when we could 'afford' to be a bit more selective. For 20+ years we've shopped at Lidl and not brought through a single worthwhile academy graduate (as in not been sold on for a good profit or made major contributions to the team). We simply haven't had any other choice but to give average players a new contract if they wanted one.

    Love Hillsborough but there's a million things wrong. People leaving their seat on 28 mins to get in the HT drinks que isnt right. It would need a monumental plan of attack and money to sort the issues out. Hopefully the new owners will have a sensible discussion with the supporters groups.

    Mostly Yes. The gulf in teams is huge and we simply couldn't match them. TBH I'm just glad it wasn't 4,5,6,7 because it could easily have been.

    Around 500 seats left, in an area where people were hit with coins, bottles and containers of ******** last time we played the scrubbers. Bravo to the 700 that have paid £41 to sit there! Biggest gate of the season once again for Sheffield. Come on naaaa lads. Let's have it.

    BMTH are right up there with Sheffields biggest bands. Certainly the biggest current band. But as much as I love em and having a pre match pint in Olly Sykes' bar (lead singer / Church bar), i do think a change is needed. Something that resembles our struggles and (hopefully) resurrection. V them on Sunday, something rousing to get the goose pimples out.
