Cooper was always going to have fitness issues coming in off the back of a few months without playing, that's unfortunately the circumstances we find ourselves in. Need to see a bit more of him before signing him up for next season, although I agree he's the type on paper that would serve us very well in the league below.

Not necessarily, not all teams that get relegated do so losing every week which is what we're on course to do providing January doesn't bring the option to add to the squad. Most teams that go down actually have a moment during the season where it looks like they might avoid the drop, obviously the point deductions will prevent that from happening for us. Would you trust Pedersen to get us back up at the first time of asking?

I like him, needs to improve his decision making and concentration levels though. Think he'll end up being a 10 more often than a 9, don't necessarily see him being a prolific scorer like he was in his youth.

And whilst being appreciative of them, I think it's the right decision for them to move on to allow a proper reset. Provided of course we aren't completely limited as to who we can sign next season.

There's certainly going to be a losing culture going into next season that we're going to have to try and change. Our recruitment strategy has to take that into account, lets go and sign some f**king winners.

Very few are going to turn up to sit in the cold and watch us lose whilst having 2 shots on goal and a corner if we're lucky knowing we're already down in one of the lesser games the league calendar will throw out this season. It doesn't sound great but that's the reality of it and it's the same with every club, more fans will turn up when the club is doing well or when there's a favourable discount so all the family can go along and make a day of it. Potential new owners will know by now what they are getting into, 22-23k at home once every so often isn't going to send them running for the hills.

Yeah, but at the same time that doesn't give players a free pass for the season. Not excusing players getting abuse for not being good enough, but we should still be able to call out poor performances and decision making the same way we would any other season.
