  1. Definitely. Proper strange behaviour.
  2. And just to top it all off I've found our resident undercover grunter on reddit spouting the same stuff.
  3. How is this website free? It's absolutely brilliant at times. Scaremongering article shut down by KW before an undercover grunter gets so riled up he gets put on the naughty step. All in the same thread. It's just the craziest place. I'm thinking of starting to pay the extra for the membership thingy cos I feel guilty getting it for nowt.
  4. It was surprising not to see a thread about em. But then I realised that it doesn't actually matter really.
  5. When we get to the prem we'll sell out pretty much every game. Until then we'll get big crowds when we're winning and in a promotion fight. At the moment we are not. The take up for the 4 game package was obviously fairly low. I was disappointed by the crowd on Saturday. All I've heard since the start of the season is that folks are staying away cos of chansiri or the prices. 20 quid a ticket and chansiri gone hasn't increased the crowd by any meaningful amount. Maybe everyone who has said that they'd return when he'd gone has done and the numbers staying away weren't that high? Pigs game had a decent crowd though didn't it?
  6. The question about merging clubs probably came from an American. Nfl etc move the franchises around and to be fair, it could easily have been a question of clarification rather than their actual aim. Either way they'll have received their answer and have either withdrawn interest or will bid regardless. I wouldn't get too worked up about it. The number of interested parties is amazing. That's what I'm focusing on from the article.
  7. I'm over it already. Any pig who wants to try and take the pee out of me in the next few days will get congratulations from me for them beating a team worth less than 1 player they brought off the bench. They know it's a hollow victory and they'll be wound up that we don't actually care as much as they would. Unlike them, we aren't defined by how we're doing compared to our city rivals. Let em have this one, we've got bigger things to focus on.
  8. I'm already over it I reckon. Alexa, play Yazz.
  9. Was great, no traffic at all. I stayed and clapped the players off. Others didn't. Whatever.
  10. Speechless. What did people expect? They closed us down and didn't give us a minute on the ball. We don't have the skill to beat that and if we'd have gone flying in they'd have beaten our press cos they've got about 100 million quids worth of players. Chill out, we've got bigger things on the horizon.
  11. Meh. We've already had our biggest win this season. Enjoy the bragging rights, I would. Hollow though innit?
  12. I'm saying it doesn't really matter as we've had the biggest win already this season. Deep down though I'm hoping we don't get absolutely battered. I don't see us winning, a draw would be a phenomenal result and a narrow loss is my prediction. Dare I allow myself to dream we could win is the question? Am I just protecting myself from disappointment? Do I need to stop being a bit of a wet thingy and get excited?
  13. The trick is to start steady in the lower speed cars. Learn how the physics works on corners and stick to the racing line. Once you master it you can up the speed class and difficulty until you're fairly proficient. This along with tuning your cars is how you improve. Then you go online and get your arse handed to you by a 15 year old who has better reaction times than us old codgers. The secret to being happy doing that is to temper your expectations, anywhere mid pack is a good result, anything better than that and I do a lap of honour round the living room.
  14. You say you're the happiest person in the thread but I've spent the morning playing forza 5 in peace and quiet. At my age that makes me happy. If you can top that then fair play.
  15. If there's hot water in the bogs then I won't be renewing.
  16. Guess I should have read your post when it popped up you'd replied while I was posting mine But yeah, bottom line is listen to me and Dave basically. We're obviously wise.
  17. I'm hoping we get a big hitter (on fotty grand a week) who has money and a plan. The plan part is the important bit as we know. Whoever it is, some people are gonna have to get over the fact it's not the Waltons it seems. I know why people want it, it's cos they represent the ideal. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good enough.
  18. I went to bed last night thinking Waltons could be in for us and having read this thread today I'm now convinced they aren't. I've no idea why Bizzle is pushing the Waltons still but it seems really weird. I now formally resign from the Waltons in group and am firmly nailing my colours to some other masts. The Walmart dream is over, long live the new dream.
  19. Can I have it afterward to use as shelter? The cardboard is leaking at the moment and my Mrs is getting fed up with it.
  20. Those down sides shouldn't be a problem if the club is run properly.
  21. Damming indictment of the previous regime.
  22. Think back over the last few weeks. All the positive news stories about us. All the comments from pundits about how we are the last of the sleeping giants. The last truly scalable club. A huge name in football who should be higher than we are. A fan base that has stuck it out over 20 odd years of dross. Imagine reading all that about the pigs. That's his motivation right there. He knows we're 1 correct decision away from showing the world what he and every other pig fears.
  23. If they win, which I fully expect, they'll be bragging. The fact that most of our fans won't be as bothered as they expect will really get under their skin. Personally I don't get involved with 'banter' etc with any blades fans in the real world. Not worth falling out with people. Though I do love some passive aggressive pointing out where they've gone wrong over the years. This Time round I'm all about how they have 1 player that cost more than our entire first team etc. Feed the paranoia a bit, ramps up the pressure on em which they usually hate. They know they bottle the big games often.
