  1. I worry about this too. Every time he gets to whatever negotiation table he's at (EFL/point deductions/fans forums/sponsors/actually selling players when they're worth owt) Chansiri's negotiations end up with the worst possible outcome of any given scenario. It's played out so many times by now, we should fear the worst.
  2. That would be great if they could, get some consistency in requests - what to quote etc
  3. Might be wrong but I think Credit card companies are quicker to initiate charge backs than banks. That's my hope at least. It will be interesting to see what happens if these refunds are declined and we take up our seats. Wouldn't put it past Chansiri to try and revoke the tickets or something, crazy as it sounds, based on how thin skinned and spiteful he comes across in most interactions with fans.
  4. I know this has been covered but I can't find the relevant advice about what to actually put in my email! I'm requesting a refund via email from the club for early bird tickets purchased in December. I've probably left it a bit late but watching the trust meeting on YouTube last night was the final straw - so many issues, well documented on here. I'm absolutely gutted to be doing this, missing out on time spent watching the team I love with my old man and daughter will genuinely sadden me. Is the best chance of success to claim that I haven't received the product yet, and the season hasn't started? I think I remember someone posting the T&C's specifically mention no refund during the season, which obviously hasn't started yet (and may not at all if we get booted out!). I'm expecting my request to be declined by the club but will be raising with my credit card as a charge back and hoping for the best. Has anyone had success via this method? Any templates knocking about that I've missed?
  5. I was recently looking into whether there were any avenues to pursue a refund. Man City fans have started legal proceedings via a GLO (Group Litigation Order) in response to changes to mandatory attendance for season ticket holders. Leigh Day are the solicitor's acting on Man City fans behalf so may be worth contacting them to see if they would be willing to take it on?
  6. Chansiri's stuck in his own personal hell at our club. It's all of his own making, although we're never going to get any self reflection or admittance from the man himself, he's woefully out of his depth but too stubborn to cut his losses and call it a day. Firstly, and to the surprise of no one, Chansiri showed again that he just isn't equipped for these public events. Questionable proficiency in English aside (which certainly doesn't help), the fella is a half wit, genuinely seems unhinged at times and really shouldn't be allowed to speak in public. His investment in us was a vanity project, pure and simple. I just don't believe his claims to love the club. He doesn't have the faintest grasp of how to interact with the fans. Believe him when he talks about the fans so negatively, it's been pretty consistent from the beginning: he sees us as customers and disloyal ones at that. He owns the club, expects subservience and will never comprehend why a bunch of plebs are allowed to question anything to do with it. Maybe it's cultural, but his assertion that we have no right to protest was probably the second most concerning thing about tonight. The first, for me, is that it's now apparent that the relationship with Röhl has broken down. We will see if Danny sticks it out until the summer but I'm doubtful. I think it's pretty clear that Röhl wanted to speak to Southampton and subsequently got the face on when Chansiri knocked em back. Not very professional from either of em! Any other club, any other owner, I would have some sympathy with the chairman, as the manager signed a contract with a release fee, so it's up to any suitors to meet that fee. The problem Chansiri's got is that aside from a few weirdo's, no one believes a word out of his mouth. He's attempted to hang Röhl out to dry by saying just enough to let people read between the lines. How many other clubs have a lunatic at the helm who airs these issues in public? There's absolutely nothing to gain from it. Pretty embarrassing night overall, but also unfortunately not a surprise.
