  1. Got to every away match early to try and force a move to the opposition
  2. Agree with this. I get people are angry after the result but come on, the is the weakest squad at this level In our history.
  3. 1-0 to them. Enjoy the day and embrace the monumental change that's around the corner
  4. Excellent point, like anything in life, if you've been part of a collective that has forced change for the better then it offers a real sense of purpose in the present and optimism moving forward.
  5. I was on the Kop. Just remember at half time not many people actually left their seat, everyone was too busy chatting about what happened. I thought at the time it looked way worse than it actually was. Alcock lost control of the game already at that point.
  6. I think there's an expectancy with some fans that we will mirror Birmingham, exciting new owners then a cake walk in League 1 and immediately look likely to challenge for the play offs back in the championship with loads of infrastructure happening at the same time. That's the best case scenario remember.
  7. Yep, the Americanisms drive me nuts here, rugby league is footy as you will know all too well. Off topic again but Proper footy is defo on the rise here and the bournemouth owner made a smart move in an emerging market with Auckland FC.
  8. Some soccer game huh? The deeeeeefence of the Norwich Nighthawks was mindblowing. What happens if the game is tied after the hooter?
  9. I personally think time will fly now, we can hope for a much brighter future and we now know that there should be a significant development by end of November with the champagne popping by xmas. The administrators are very confident which means I am too
  10. Alot of good people out there ready to buy this soccer club. I mean Pele.. for one and yeah...like I said.....good people
  11. Great work @Maddogbob Go on then a 1-0 win in front of an emotional crowd. Why not eh? Have a good day all, change isn't coming, it's arrived.
  12. Yeah good point. Let's get that average up to 2 points per game, a nice round number
  13. Thems the rules. On the plus side we only need 56 points for survival at a rate of 1.6 points per game. Time to get the graph thread going.
  14. Yep felt the same. Really chuffed for all of you who can go to games again now.
  15. I think admin would rule textor out as it confirms our relegation. That might be a good thing, who knows?
  16. Have a pint on me mate, you've won the internet today.
  17. Exactly, his lack of cooperation will sink him, its a case of when not if
  18. A single goal defeat would be fine wouldn't it? Then two weeks of 40,000 fans trying to be accounting and property experts
  19. Did McCoist say DC has murdered Sheffield Wednesday? I love it when Scottish people say 'Murder'
  20. Remember @Barnsleyowl1996 @Owlstalk Admin Teamdont like us attaching @thebizzleinto questions so @Barnsleyowl1996i think you should apologize to @thebizzle regards, @New Zealand Owls
  21. Can't see any scenario other than a comfortable QPR win. But does any result matter?
  22. I mean, the support we are getting from other clubs is one of the most heart warming parts to this horror show. Fair play to QPR and all the other clubs we have faced so far who have supported this.
  23. Imagine if we could hang in there until the next window. Scrape together 4/5 wins until Jan when hopefully the ownership is sorted once and for all. Positives- we will be comfortable in our own skin. No desire to do anything other than survive. 2 or 3 youth players to have break out seasons. At least one other champ club to have an absolute mare, Hopefully Derby or even better...blunts (highly unlikely). Then just compete with the other weaker squads like an Oxford for example. and finally, a whole load of luck with injuries.
  24. Just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber, you go ahead and do this.....and TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF!!!!! 1-0 owls. Tugboat 85. Yes I'm drunk Goodnight
  25. Yeah that could be a logical reason. I think we may be in this current phase for the long haul now. The loan repayment outcome may speed things up but its all new ground we are covering isn't it? Brand new Independent regulator, DC the loon, potential new owners perception of the situation and EFLs involvement etc etc. These are grim times but things will turn in our favour....we just don't know when!
