Christ, another one hanging on to a minor cup win 35 years ago. An entire generation of football fans don't even know we've ever played in the premier league. And they don't care. They only know of us as a championship/league one yoyo team.

The size of Wednesday is up for discussion. Forest Green, Dagenham and Yeovil would also describe themselves as small, it's not condescending at all

Sums up the arrogance of our fanbase. We're a lower championship/upper league one team and that's the reality that the majority of our fanbase refuse to grasp. The club's mentioned are brilliant little clubs (except mk dons, obviously..) and it's really disrespectful to think they somehow aren't worthy to play us.

If he's pissed at people leaving early, would hate to see how he'd act towards the 10k that couldn't be bothered to turn up. Seriously though, if "fans" are going to start fighting amongst themselves every time we're losing this season, we're simply going to accumulate a ridiculous amount of fines and more bans, diverting important funds to frankly embarrassing things. If we're only getting 20-23k through the door we can't afford to lose fans to bans! We seem to have gotten away with throwing stuff at the united players (this season and last) so hopefully the fans involved yesterday will be punished and not the club, again.

Wet have a reasonable championship starting 11. It should be performing a lot better than it is. We have an awful manager who is way out of his depth. We obviously have no way of replacing him in the short term so we're just going to have to put up with this crap, but this team should not be facing a frankly embarrassing points total. We're better than this.

Not when the administrator has budgeted for 30k with cheap tickets. And not when we're trying to have a pop at them lot for a poor midweek attendance.

We should probably stop the attendance talk once and for all. 23k is more than we got today.

While you may be correct, the context here is that all the hard work, the charitable donations etc are essentially being allocated to pay an absolutely needless fine. We've had a lot of sympathy from the football world and incidents like this certainly don't help things. The "other team's fans do it too” perspective is completely irrelevant and frankly pathetic given our situation.

It's a rivalry, and they've done it to get reactions from us. We know no matter the situation wilder will rub our noses in it especially at Hillsborough. He'll be feeling extremely smug about all of this

The Wembley architects wanted to incorporate the twin towers in to the new Wembley but the costs were prohibitive, and that was a £billion project. The numbers guys will work out the best option but I can't see how we leave Hillsborough, unless we follow the plans from some of our fans which always involve displacing hundreds of families and businesses

It's not "completely irrelevant". From a football legislation standpoint it's probably fine, but from a "should we invest hundreds of millions in to London-based Arsenal, who are battling for the premier league title, the European Cup, with a World class squad, modern stadium and training facilities etc or invest hundreds of millions in to every aspect of Sheffield Wednesday in the hope they might bother the top 6 in the championship" standpoint, which one makes more financial sense?
