I think fans will stick together but substantial change is required in the mentality of running the club. Hence some realism needs to be applied and to progress dramatic change is required.

Pedersen is a decent man and good coach. It is also very difficult to assess his worth in current situation. However no proof exists that he is a good manager and can build a team. The team have repeatedly been set up poorly in games this season hence us conceding early in numerous games. There is clearly a lack of tactical information on opposition or an inability to interpret it correctly. The style of play we have adopted has imitated our style from last year which proved successful in scrapping for points. We have probably not had resources to change much but much of what has been done is hardly inspiring. His record as a manager was extremely poor and it is quite a leap to assume he will become good especially when faced with a trying situation. Anyone who takes over with ambition and puts huge money into club would be taking a risk backing Pedersen, think if we get anyone with serious money he will be replaced before next season. If serious money is invested in club the days of pandering to the past I suspect will be gone players will be judged on what they are delivering at the moment and what they can expect to deliver in the future. We currently have quite a lot of non functioning players and they will be gone as well.

Mike Ashley makes £20 mil offer to buy club 🙄
Mamalute replied to notsowiseowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Already better offers than that, as some clear threshold for no points deduction. He is out of reckoning. -
Team was poorly set up and this has been a trait all season. Our analysis of opposition and way they play is poor, hence dreadful start to games. Ugbo is deteriorating by the game, he needs a period out of side. Defending is on the whole poor and not co-ordinated. Pedersen is a decent bloke but long way short of being a good manager. He is just a coach.

I think the statement they have received offers which make situation a goer in it covers all secure creditors and meets 25% obligation for unsecured debtors. Rest of message indicates that proposed timescale is still the one they are working to.

You want to ask for toilet rolls, quite a few sheets will be of interest to you. From now on will take extra pleasure when using those sheets.

Think we are all looking at it with rose coloured spectacles but you do not normally get 11 interested parties, this is very high number and his comment re crowds as obviously been taken on board by many of those interested in the club. I can remember when we were certainly in top 6/8 clubs in country and no reason we can not return to this level with the right owner. Years of having third rate (or even worse) owners has resulted in a malaise it is about time to start having hope once more.

The full interview is essential viewing. It is well worth the fifteen minutes. It gives an insight in how run down the club was and wat simple things could and should have been done to improve cash flow. The information provided by admin team is a refreshing reminder of what difference good communication makes. I would say it is very positive and club is moving forward quickly.

Wisdom and Courage (Over the Don)

The chorus is excellent and would make excellent chant. Well done for writing and performing this. -
Fully agree it was his lack of ability to negotiate or understand business that prevented a deal being done. Quite a few thought a deal had been done for him to suddenly change his mind and increas price or impose new terms.

Interesting update from Paul Stanley

If you listen to the Paul Stanley podcast which is on another thread, he says he is expecting a bid from most of the 10 who got to second data room. Therefore your assumption appears to be inaccurate. -
Current stadium and site not fit for purpose. Cost of acquiring land and building piecemeal for several seasons is a non starter. Just has to go.

He is injured. Thornton did well in league cup games, he seems most ready of reserve midfield players.

Think at one point was hopeful of getting a role at club. Now realises that is not going to happen as those he knows will not get the club.
-
Hoping and reality are two different things. Agree we should not be signing guys at this stage longer than 6 months.
-
Fully accept may be rules preventing it. However two other administrators are in place as well as EFL so think there is no doubt whoever wins will have satisfied all rules and it will be highest bidder amongst those that have. Be very difficult for one guy to outflank all others. May have to be a period of grace few months but can not see it being more than that.
-
We do not want to be signing individuals for the sake of it, if you put them on couple of year deals they will impact ability to sign players at end of season. Agree it is poorly stocked pond and those that have talent usually have injury concerns.

Type of rubbish we do not need. Complete waste of money.

If we needed a CEO to run club after takeover think Kris Wigfield would be call. Understands club, knows finance, is good communicator and knows how to utilise strength of others in getting things done. Would be very safe par of hands. Would ensure money of owner spent wisely.
