  1. Genuinely though they serve pop in bottles, Bovril/tea/coffee etc in cups. I can't see why cans are any worse if you still can't take to your seat
  2. All it needs is one person with a fridge of cans of any one beer, beep £5, hand you a can, job done. You could get served quickly there if you wanted & would probably halve the main bar queue
  3. 4,349 seems doable. Come on lads
  4. Sounds like him & the team have done a really good job to acquire both the ground and the club under the same administrators. Seems really shrewd & we should be very thankful that a Wednesday fan has had the knowledge to manoeuvre in this way and get Chansiri out so quickly. Compared to what other clubs went through this is an excellent result and the work of the administrators really can't be underestimated
  5. RIP Milan Gutted, one of the few aside from the general fanbase who cared and genuinely tried to help
  6. Salaries are low for those types of roles, but given how big of a deal the footballer regulator is for anyone who follows football they will be inundated with good candidates. Anyone who's made their money and wants to work in sport, etc, would do those no problem Compare it to the Trust, all of which is done for free out of the love of Wednesday
  7. Somehow we have to stop the spending. SWFC Trust branded hip flasks? There has to be something more we can do other than getting on at other fans
  8. He's trying to take his chance I get it, but honestly i was pretty disappointed with his post match interview. I remember the fans forum when Chansiri told some quotes in the press from Röhl. It struck me then how little attention DC paid to our manager shaming him, it was literally the first time he'd heard it. Fast forward to HP, I guess I just wish he'd embody Röhl and be a little braver. We've seen Jamal Lowe do it, not coming out and saying "this chairman is a moron", but subtle digs have been made and nothing has happened chairman wise - but the fans all know Lowe is with us and hates DC. HP needs to be a little bit brave and accept this isn't a normal situation, long term fan respect would increase and he might need that
  9. Fair enough, I'll still be inside with the whistle. Tickets paid for, no advantage to Chansiri of me going in, some disruption to be had. not sure if anyone 'polices' the decision on how many stewards are required etc, but I think you'll be causing him more expenditure by using an already purchased ticket than standing outside. Plus the kids and few who've stuck around, especially Bannan, deserve to be backed
  10. To elaborate a bit, as a season ticket holder, you've already paid for the ticket, so providing you don't spend anything in the ground you are actually helping by going in - costing him stewarding, ground staff, water, lighting, etc. just buy NOTHING. Also the kids and pros who've stuck around deserve some support. Tough one for me, visual impact is outside, financial impact is sitting inside but buying nothing - what I'll be doing
  11. Inside but crucially whistling
  12. Should be the loudest chant you hear at every game this season The loyalty this man has shown is second to none and cannot be forgotten Notices handed in, Chansiri ruining the club, Röhl coming and going, Set of kids replacing the first team. Protesting and hopefully Chansiri out, remember that in contrast to our captain, Mr Barry Bannan. The biggest Wednesday legend I can remember. We have big players and good seasons, but think of that and as yourself, would they stay through this? Genuinely a Wednesday legend & he should be appreciated for that Please everyone remember when we're 5-0 down to Millwall, the words you should be thinking of are we've got Bannan. Goodnight

  13. Someone chopping onions in here?
  14. Any players reading this, please refuse to play The fans are behind you, I would genuinely rather be kicked out of the league than get relegated playing the kids and being the laughing stock every weekend
  15. Done, hopefully it makes the press
  16. We need nobody to pay the compo, and on the flip side if Danny had said goodbye but then comes back, for me that confirms serious takeover talks are in progress
  17. Röhl not coming back but players coming back anyway doesn't paint a very "leading by example" picture, this could be good for us. I think Rohls little rebellious moments in the press & this sort of thing is probably the only reason nobody has paid the compensation fee yet. No owner wants a manager to make them look bad, and although we are a... Special case... I still think it will factor into people's decisions when hiring a manager We need nobody to pay for Röhl, it's Chansiris only way to limp along
  18. Honestly if it's gone that low, we probably wouldn't make it to August without more issues, which as bad as it is for this season, it would help a sale
  19. Apologies if the numbers aren't exact, and apologies for another thread, but: TV money first payment arrives in August Wages 1.2/1.3m per month net Employer NI & Employee NI + PAYE therefore means the tax bill is around £620,000-£690,000 For two months the total bill for wages and Tax would be £3,980,000 He's received 1.5m for Caelan Cadamarteri IF he gets let's say 3m for Röhl, it'll get him to August The August TV money then gets him another few months until it's season ticket time or more TV money All while the club rots We have to really hope that nobody pays the compensation for Röhl, if they do we could be stuck with Chansiri trying to ride it out for ages, taking us down where he might be able to carry on limping along for god knows how long with lower running costs The Röhl compensation is absolutely critical to Chansiri failing and having to sell
  20. improvement year on year for last 4 seasons, Europa league football next season again. We can't pay the canteen staff currently, what are your expectations?
  21. Rejected. Doesn't match Chansiris valuation. Not IKN, but I know I'm right because of experience
  22. Really dont understand why people need Milan to have a financial motive, just given a really passionate interview about the club, supporters, state of it now, saying he feels responsibility. Can't it be that - like he says - he wants to help And that he feels responsibility, and that at 86 he wants the club to survive, flying in to try & get through to Chansiri We should be welcoming him with open arms not getting on his case about 10m that he said he's happy to waive if invested! Surely that tells you his intentions towards the club, no way he walks out of this with 10m, but the club might walk out of it without Chansiri
  23. Got to think about where we were then though, and what he achieved in his time here
  24. Understand the thought, but I don't view it as that at all, I think he'd be happy to lose his 10m if a deal could be done to save the club from Chansiri. The interview didn't strike me as someone after his cash, I'd imagine he's basically written it off in his mind given the current position we find ourselves in. But if that puts some money on his side of the table in a deal, it's great news for us as it could take something off Chansiris valuation. Down to just 140m now
  25. Anyone laying any blame at Milan or saying he's only here for his 10m needs a look in the mirror, and a listen at that interview. He's trying to help, which is what we've all been crying out for, imho he's got the best chance of getting through to Chansiri The 10m is also a bargaining chip that he could use to encourage a sale, he already said he's happy to waive it if it's invested in the club He's s genuinely passionate about helping or purchasing the club, any group would be lucky to have a former owner and guy with Milan's experience on board
