Fair play. When we see 16k more empty seats rather than soft gestures with the kiosks then the protests will be taken more seriously. All that’s been achieved so far is lots of young uns losing their Saturday jobs.

I’m intrigued as to how many people have actually asked for a season ticket refund? Surely the moral and right thing would be to do this if we are going to be so opinionated on the pay on dayers. Don’t forget these are people that probably couldn’t afford the over priced STs! But if we are honest, ST holders won’t be doing this, but we’ll sacrifice the HT beers instead.

We may be on our arse but at least we're not Blades

They want Mourinho, apparently he said they have good fans so they should ‘give him a shot’. -
Nah only a proper ‘man’ can be so full of bravado to fellow fans in such circumstances.
-
Well said, but probably hasn’t.

Danny Röhl interview concerning words on future

Bit of me believes this. He’s stayed away from FFP comfortably and may see this as another roll of the dice. It might be a case that he couldn’t afford not to? -
And for the avoidance of doubt, this wasn’t my position. The man raping the sport or that was his aim, sadly he saw our club as the vehicle to facilitate his expected but failed plan. He went all in on red and blacks came up!
-
Apparently so, kind of symbolic of the club isn’t it.
-
Agreed. The worst part is that it hurt me to pay for my season tickets this year as it’s a 20p mix up for a £1 ground. I went in the north for WBA I was stunned to see that it was in worse condition than I remembered from three years ago. What does worry me, is what the next 20years look like, with or without him
-
I’ve not bothered today! I genuinely started with anxiety after the Peterborough home game and it’s just stated to ease in the past month…I’ve put it down to the product, sorry the past year of been a fan of the greatest club in the world… so I’ve decided to hide away today!
-
I don’t think he will, no. Because he relates everything to customer approach, so if people aren’t buying his product it’s the players fault in his mind, not his product. I can only assume that if his tuna sales dropped, he wouldn’t equate it to the better value tuna on the same shelf, that comes with vinegar already in the tin, he’d take Tesco to task and tell them they aren’t selling his tuna properly. And Röhl will only get backed so far as you and I agree to sit in a decrepit, unsafe stadium without any hot water in the toilets!
-
Hope you’re wrong in the last comment!
-
That’s not fair pal, it’s a cheap one. And the raffles are given to kids sports clubs to raise funds etc. To be honest, it’s hard enough to find people to come in for free these days, given the value of that product.
-
Just give people a chance rather than jumping in with belittling them, it’s easy on a keyboard.
-
I think we’re both agreeing with each other here, but I’m looking at a cost and value aspect. You’re looking at affordability and cost. So what do the two outcomes infer to the fan as in ‘us’. He’ll constantly argue that you either pay it or not as we’re customers. I’m suggesting that if he was providing a match day experience (results aside, as that’s the risk we take) then fair enough, but the place is becoming a crap hole. And we both agree the revamp would probably change the whole environment around this affordability etc…but knowing the dictator, he’d give us a 6m early bird at £570 constant and credit card only options! And this is why I’m saying ‘don’t use this stick’ (I know you like that). We are customers…play to his parameters and as a customer be he's selling it’s a poo product!!
-
That my sodding point, see how our posts have just crossed and then read mine! The early bird cost isn’t to far wrong…the product beyond the pitch is a disgrace and this is what shows the actual crap he serves up. The current prices aren’t about him expecting us to pay it! It isn’t about who can afford what. You currently have a £1 coin in your pockets because you don’t have a ‘cash card’, would you buy a 20p mix up with it? No ! Because it’s not value for money, even though you could hypothetically not miss the £1. Let’s start a debate on service station prices…there’s little difference here!
-
I’m not talking about the affordability debate you manipulating little cretin. But everyone can see that! It’s the principle of cost and value and how he treats fans despite the prices paid. My other point is, why is the structure so wrong…that would possibly see the price adjust to reflect it.
-
I agree, it’s beyond sensible to charge those prices at anytime. And this takes me back to my initial point, early bird when, tiers and timing etc. These prices aren’t about affordability, it’s about value for money first and foremost. Even if you’re sat on a well supplemented ‘Visa Debit’ (for Neil) why on gods earth would anyone pay that to watch Ashley Fletcher!
-
Again, I’m talking about the early bird price. Why do you represent facts, what scares you?
-
Never mentioned the price, stop turning the direction to suit your agenda. I said facilities. And I knew you’d pick up on the ‘poor’ line, that’s pretty sad isn’t it, I’ve never made out it makes a better supporter. We regularly give tickets for raffles and so on, but don’t let that bother you and your targets.
-
Sorry, let’s call it a Visa Debit card for people with little imagination or narcissistic tendencies.
-
Sorry, my bad. £57 or £2 per game is a massive difference. Maybe, if we had 30k on every gate things could be different. And for what it’s worth, no, I’ve just walked away from our ‘box’ on principle of the facilities provided for the increase.
