Pack out Hemsworth MW for the 23s tonight, we get half of the gate receipts -
I might be wrong, but recall him warming up with a hat on and Di Canio pulling the hat off.

Rolls Royce of a defender... was as fast as they come but his game awareness meant he was 2 yards ahead anyway.

We’re a bit better than a pub team, but I get the logic -

Phoenix Club and applying for non-league
BoyWonder replied to SnowyOwl13's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
There is no way step 7/8/9 clubs could accommodate a phoenix SWFC, they are run by 3/4 volunteers and have little to no infrastructure. Wakefield FC started at step 7 and Bury Step 6, so the FA does have digression to place clubs where they see fit & the pyramid could accommodate. Also, Marine are Step 3, and have decent facilities so your example a very different world to Step 7 & below. -
Phoenix Club and applying for non-league
BoyWonder replied to SnowyOwl13's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Hopefully it doesn't come to this.....but with the number of away fans the SCSL could definitely not accommodate a SWFC Phoenix Team. I'd also suggest the NCEL or equivalent, would struggle with this issue to. In my opinion the lowest league that could potentially accommodate a SWFC phoenix team would be the Northern Division one (league below Stocksbridge PS). At that level most have decent grounds and are used to away following, albeit much less than what a SWFC phoenix team would take. Applications for entry into the pyramid would need to be submitted by 31st Dec 2025, then the FA would decide where we were best placed. I imagine storming up the leagues would be fun..... better than the last decade anyway. -

If he keeps Danny by giving the man what he wants and we start to progress forward, he might regain some respect! Miles off that now, lets asses in 12 months.- 41 replies

Interesting! WBA away form......read this...
BoyWonder replied to 1952Owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
No one is denying that, but we still wouldn't be safe going into the last game. I wouldn't go as far as saying highly unlikely either, Ipswich could be resting players for the play offs. It will definitely go to the last minutes of the season IMO -

We have the inferior GD, so would not be safe -

We have the inferior goal difference though, so would not be safe -
where can we watch it?

More like "Owls Rohl over again"

Xisco is the 'need breed' of coaches that have a philosophy and stick to it no matter what. Too stubborn to change! If you have the players might work, it was clear we did not have those players so it certainly was the wrong appointment

Anyone who would have picked our best XI and played to the strengths of our players would have more points than we have now.

BoyWonder replied to billyblack's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
It's transfer spending, where it is zero we either didn't buy anyone or sell anyone that year.
