Absolutely - should all be relatively fresh ( obviously cooper not as much ) Team for Saturday with iorfa out and likely no returnees ? Horvath Palmer Coooper Lowe Valery Thornton Baz Inglesson Amass Cadz Mcneil get valery back to wing back - let’s use BOTH flanks and try to be compact . Use the pace of cadz to get us up the pitch into the channels and win us some corners / throws

In fact mathematically we could be ! Obvs deductions depending and form but I am sure we all agree in that form is highly unlikely to change much … the odd draw and maybe a win miraculously

In a way too if we had been a little more successful on the pitch it’d have given us some hope we could stop up … only to get kicked with a deduction again . obviously winning this season games of football would be nice but at least we know our fate ! And can plan we probably could be relegated as early as January. Not mathematically but end of January is game 30! Sad to say but we will probably be about 30-40 points off safety by then if we carry on as we are + the other deduction.

Good point . It’s easy to feel down as it’s felt like a long wait . Even since admin which was a good while ago now … every day passes by slowly , then you get a weekly Reminder on the field of the issues . as KW said may be a further deduction imminent which whilst it doesn’t matter is still a negative but touch wood we have a very exciting announcement pending to give us a bright future 2026 onwards nearly there owls nearly there

Yep big role missed the midfield controller , the one who wins tackles , does the dirty stuff etc . Most successful teams have this sort of player … we miss a lot of things tbh

Not seen the game but generally with McNeil he looks like he wants to mould into a sort of windass player ( obviously big shoes to fill ) but that’s the sort of player he wants to be . Good shot / can ping it . not seen many signs but the odd glimmer of a player somehow in there .

Don’t think it will be Ashley . Wigfield said already offer big enough for 25p per pound which would indicate £30 mill + offer

We never seem to get updates as to who’s fit and who isn’t . id go for ( providing it’s the same lot available ) Horvath Valery Iorfa (palmer if not fit ) Cooper Amass Baz Thornton Lowe Mcneil inglesson Cadz feel that’s the team with players in the position they should be in … palmer and fusire to come on if needed . Also feel that’s side gives us some ability to use both flanks with valery and amass overlapping .

Any idea on how many are heading down ? Anything around the 1k mark would be a superb effort considering !

Hard to compare in full but absolutely no reason we can’t get a Lee Gregory equivalent or better / sam goes for Johnson / Byers etc . none of the above were world beaters were they let’s be honest . windass I accept was a top player to have down in league one and baz who we still have albeit older for comparison we ‘May’ have Charles who on the face of it is better then peacock Farrell . Valery better than hunt , etc etc . again hard to compare as it’s a long way off . personally I’d rather be confident and do believe we will do well

Not sure I agree at all below was our side on our first league one game ( season we lost in the play offs ) ok further additions came . But that wasn’t a great side . And that was a real transition of a summer with 10+ signings in the summer . All depends on the new owners and their ambitions and who we can keep but I’m confident the right owner moves us quickly

yeah it’s a fair point this - as much as I’d be happy if he went I wouldn’t be disappointed if he stayed on for a season or so . there’s a few players in there who we clearly want to keep ( if possible ) Charles / m lowe / valery / Bernard etc baz and young lads but inglesson falls into a category where I’d maybe put him and a few others in ( palmer , maybe reluctantly iorfa ) where they may be extra bodies to bulk a squad out and know the club . something like this for next season GK Charles NEW ( experienced keeper ) barrett / stretch ( loan one out again) RB Valery ( ideally / if he goes then replace accordingly ) New CB NEW NEW Weaver Bernard Cooper Iorfa ? Back up LB Lowe ( ideally keep - if he goes replace accordingly NEW central midfield Baz NEW NEW NEW inglesson ( if you class him as a LCM ) Wide forwards NEW NEW NEW kobacki ST NEW NEW Brown Cadz Utility players / other options Liam Palmer - utility Sean fusire ( unsure on his level and Charlie McNeil ( probably loan to league 2 for a season ) other young lads ( mcgee / Johnson / Thornton / siqura / otegbayo emery etc etc ) loan out a few and unless serious progression and options for the 11 . A few of these are around the 19-20 age so need game time . Sell / release chalobah J Lowe ( half a feeling he will still be here ) Ike ugbo you are looking at around 12 signings and that’s assuming the likes of max lowe . Yan valery , p Charles etc all stay. If they go it may be 13-14 we need in. so you’d probably have to look at the likes of palmer / inglesson / iorfa and utilise in some capacity
