Don’t think we are blaming anyone at the club. But if a player has a sh-t game or not putting the effort in they are in a position to be told.
-
It was the most on sided derby I’ve seen. I do agree with OP though. Both weren’t at it today. Half arsed performance and kept trying to play the ball in the wrong areas giving the ball away. i watched the first half back again and most if not all United efforts came from us giving the ball away in daft areas.

Matchday thread: SWFC v Southampton (A)
GoodyOwl replied to ReginaldD's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Just re watched the saints third goal. I’ve seen the goalkeeper getting a bit of stick for it. wtf does Iorfa dive in and completely mis judge the entire tackle. Missed the ball and player went through on goal. simple mistakes cost us so much. -
From what I can see Charles hasn’t even played this season. Would be a great addition on loan in Jan. we need longer term now though
-
Just a praise for Harry Amass. There has probably been a thread on him but got to say he’s got an excellent career to come. Hes such a stand out player every game. Yes he has made a couple of mistakes but he’s such a calm, composed player when he has the ball. He links up with Bannan very well. I can’t see it happening as I imagine there is a huge number on his head but would be an excellent signing for the next year in league 1. Which is probably way beneath him. well done and thanks for committing to us!

Let's Get The Scrubbers Of S2 Sold Out!

I know this is the biggest derby in the country (despite it never being billed as that) - but is anyone really concerned about the result. Even in their position they are still very much favourites to win this. -
Have you ever doubted a new signing from day 1?

https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football-liverpool-s-ambitions-thwarted-by-10-men-1261072.html This is the match im on about - vs Liverpool - think it was last game of season. Think the one your on about is Pressman thought he had a bird flying at him or something :). Your right though it was the other way around. -

As is always the same. Players come to us and either fail or drop their game, then go to another club and raise everything about them. Oh also someone here posted Srnicek. I thought he was awesome, saved loads in a really poor squad. Think we got relegated with him (could be wrong) but he wasn't the problem. -

Worst signing i ever saw play was Matt Clarke in goal. Back in the days of the Steel City Cup, I saw the first one where we played a full side and pasted the pigs 3-1. Then the following year we played the reserves and Pleat played Clarke in goal. As soon as the first went in i knew he was poop.... we lost 4-1. I think he only came on a few times. Another memorable time was when Pressman went off injured and then i think it was 13 seconds of play later Clarke got a red card.... -
I thought Joao was a class player. He was effective most of the time he played for us. Cant see why he wasn't as regular for us or why we got rid of him - other than Chansiri seeing the wheels fall off.
-
When Chalobah plays he is so good at breaking up play. Again though hes just injury prone and probably needs to move on. We need players playing!
-
Hopefully this chapter is over now for both club and person. He should be able to get on with his life ruining other businesses without fear of our club and people.
-
Half Time Chance-iri. bit like a scratch card but you win nothing!
-
This is a great game… there should be an image posted weekly and we identify who looks like a celebrity…. Is it them or not who knows !?

I always knew Capello was a Wednesday fan. Must be the Di Canio and Carbone link.

Could be wrong but looks like Fabio Capello to me….

They probably know about as much as we do right now. -
SWFC IN ADMINISTRATION - CONFIRMED
GoodyOwl replied to Sambo89's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Administration was inevitable and maybe a god send to get the club moving in the right direction. The only issue i think we will have is doesn't Chansiri own the ground in some "other" business and don't any potential new owners have to buy the ground also? Which could be a show stopper as he will probably want the same amount as previous? Perhaps Millmoor is available? -
Nobody wants to hear why you’re attending tonight

Still more fans that I thought there would be. -
I feel physically sick. As expected we now have started the relegation form. Cant hang on to 1-0 leads, decisions not going our way, players looking tired from being over played. What makes me angry is the fact we still have the crowds turning up doing sweet FA then going to buy a drink or something to fill his pockets. I know people can’t be controlled and can do what they need. But surely there is a point where you say F this that’s it. Until this is all sorted. sick and very sorry for everyone who loves this club.

Fundraising for Sheffield Childrens Hospital

Morning everyone! Yesterday we took part in the race -and wow, what an experience. It was by far the toughest ride I’ve ever done, but also one of the most rewarding. This was my first organised event and I loved every minute. There were four of us in the team, and after 75 gruelling miles and 9 hours 4 minutes, we made it to the finish. Along the way we faced a few setbacks - my gears gave up on me and one of us picked up a flat tyre - but the biggest challenge was the hills. I thought we’d be skirting around Mam Tor… instead, we went right over the top. Brutal, but unforgettable! What really lifted us though were the acts of kindness on the route - fellow cyclists stopping to donate, and even a lady running out of her house while we were sat at red lights to press £10 into my hand. Moments like that kept us going. When I first set this up, my fundraising goal was £500. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we’ve now passed £3,500! I’ll be keeping the link open a while longer, so if anyone would still like to donate, it would mean the world. All funds are going to the incredible Sheffield Children’s Hospital, which does so much for children and families who really need their care. Thank you again to everyone who’s supported us - you’ve made this ride even more special. https://www.justgiving.com/page/noah-and-the-noodles?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL -

Can’t believe it – we’ve smashed through £2,500! When I first set the target at £500, I never thought we’d get anywhere near this. Massive thanks to everyone who’s donated. The link will stay live for a bit longer if anyone else would like to donate. -

In less than a week, I’ll be cycling 75 miles around the Peak District for Sheffield Children’s Hospital. They’ve been there for my son Noah through two huge brain operations, and today marks a year since his diagnosis. I’m so close to hitting my £2,500 goal – any support, even sharing this link, would mean everything. -

Castleton and back home completed. Legs feel dead and im wondering how i will manage to get the last 25 miles out of them. It’s harder than i thought. No pain, no gain!
