Apart from a fumble from Horvath and a wicked free kick for their goals, there was very little between the teams and I’m sure to the outsider given the circumstances Wednesday were the better team. I thought the team played some good football and batted for every ball up to the final whistle. Ok Horvath went a bit over the top but stopped a possible third keeping us in the game for the last few minutes. Its very easy to pick over a game once it’s ended, but those guys gave 100% knowing they could be unemployed next week and/or not getting paid again at the end of the month The season is now over big style on the league front but while ever there is ‘11 players’ turning out for the club and giving their all, let’s support them in the most positive ways we can

Why doesn’t the EFL or the new regulator have the powers to summon Chansiri (or any Chairman) to appear before some form of Select Committee. To explain in person, what they intend to do with the club. Also what the reasons are for the missing wages/ payments and face the media full on for the fans to see. At that point HE could be issued with any punishment they wish to hand out.

It’s really encouraging to see the team playing together as a unit, with what they are having to endure off the pitch. On the playing side of things, I think it’s no coincidence that it’s taken 5 or 6 games for the team to gel. We have had to play catch up, with having no pre season friendlies, players not having chance to get used to a new set up and breaking in young lads that would have been nowhere near ready for the cut and thrust of the Championship. Its like a few are saying now, if it wasn’t for the $hit show behind the scenes and with proper investment (and the standard of teams in the league this year), I’m sure a challenge for promotion would have been on the cards. But alas it’s not to be………. WAWAW
