  1. Invading the pitch is a way to stop the game, yes I totally agree. But in many ways it's old hat, the club (and the media etc) is expecting it to happen and will have no doubt increased stewards accordingly. But if you want to invade that pitch, good on you at least you are doing something, other than the happy clappers who just let others do the work. But maybe it calls for something new. The players have every right to down tools, and this could be where the answer is. if they all sat down on the pitch on lets say the 10th minute of a game (steel city derby WOW) the impact would be massive, the media coverage would be everywhere, and front page news without any doubt. Would the players get fines etc, this would be highly unlikely because of the chairman's treatment and the over ridding support of the football world. Some of us fans have player contact so it could work, without the need for fans getting banned, finned, arrested etc. Just an idea, so please don't shoot me down in flames.
  2. even more with drinks . The pay on the day or the one off ticket purchases do contribute to the clubs funds, but that's a very small percentage at the side of corporate money. 10 fans to 1 corporate. How do you stop the corporate?
  3. Corporate entertainment money adds massive amounts of money each game. at around £250 and head
  4. That can't happen, it would result in a club fine (would not effect the chairman) and even more points on top of the 12 to 21 we are going to get anyway.
  5. It's fans like you who spoil this site for everyone
  6. Sorry this dingbat has just posted the last ever entry onto this site. The point I attempted to make was other people high up in the know at SWFC must take some responsibly for keep quiet all these years. Yes a dictator in charge and %100 to blame, the staff will have been warned to say nothing or else, but some of them knew the situation where in, but no one could or was not brave enough to say
  7. thank you for your horrific thread I 100% agree its the chairman's fault, what I was trying to say was other people in the know at SWFC are saying nothing and must take some responsibly
  8. Other people in the higher positions at SWFC have to take some responsibly or accountability for the state of our club. Yes we have what can only be described as a dictator in charge, but he's not the only one who was aware or maybe responsible for our appalling situation and the financial disaster. It's time for them to stand up and give their version of SWFC whilst they still can before any takeover.
  9. Could we have kept him if all was ok at SWFC? I have strong doubts due to the fact he wants to climb the success ladder, and Germany would always be his number one target if not now sometime in the near future. (and why not he's a German with home led ambitions to succeed.) Will he manage in UK this year? Yes with a club with multi millions to spend on the quality players he knows every team needs. Good luck to a very fine manager
  10. The one good thing to be happening at this stage of the SWFC saga is OWLS IN THE PARK. Protesting at this event would do no good what so ever, and stops the future blood of SWFC enjoying a day out with the Owls. Grow up you protesters and look at the bigger picture. The chairman could not give a fart about protests has he has proved in recent months, the only ones to really loose out are the kids
  11. what a really silly thing to say. we're in enough trouble without a pitch invasion. wrong in every way possible
  12. IF Danny was to leave us, I'm certain he would have already told the staff he wanted with him
  13. Many of us going to Derby on Saturday. There's a park, come large open area at the side of the ground which seems perfect. Covid rules will be followed because Wednesdayites are all one enormous family bubble. Rain is forecast, but "singing in the rain" just does not get better than than.
  14. The fortunes of our team at the moment is of no surprise. We have all the same old training staff , doing the same old things, with a clear lack of knowledge in how to put things right. Forget the Bullens, the Thompsons, and the rest, we desperately need a new start. A new manager will bring in his own backroom staff for sure, partially when he's seen what we have in the old school. I fear this season's fate may be beyond a new manager, but at least give him a chance to see what we have, what we need, and most importantly, what we don't need.
