Really not fussed about the PL and it's 'look at me' and "we are the best' status. I'd just love to be in the mix for players with teams in the Championship and those players wanting to join us. That means competing with a number of teams dropping from the PL but with new owners and a clear identity this is eminently possible.

I'm already getting Derby fans at work moaning at me saying they weren't allowed to sign players whilst under embargo and punishment so why are we allowed to sign Cooper and Redmond. Whichever way you look at it there will always be those who find an argument for and against. The rules (whether fans agree with them or not) are signed off at club level in the EFL so no point in playing up now. We just have to suck it up and hope a brighter future is just around the corner.

Let's be realistic. If any of them were decent we'd have cashed in on them this season to aid the financial crisis. What we have is what we have. It's poor and our best 2 players currently are mid 30s and an 18 year old who isn't ours. We need to get new owners in, let them make their own choices on management etc and try and get some players in Jan to help get a little momentum going into a season in League One.

As a club we have been left in the wake of those that have kicked on in terms of modern stadia and training complexes by standing still for a good number of years. It will take investment to get us to that level but any serious buyer will know that and hopefully it will be part of their buying pitch to the administrators.
