Following the success of our Leeds United screening, we will once again be coming together on Tuesday night to watch our Carabao Cup tie against Grimsby Town away from Hillsborough, for those participating in the boycott. This is not about turning our backs on the team. This is about standing firm against Dejphon Chansiri’s failed ownership. Every ticket left unsold is another message sent loud and clear. At the Leeds screening we proved that we can boycott Hillsborough while still creating a Wednesday atmosphere. Surrounded by fellow Owls, voices raised as one. We invite you to join us again on Tuesday. Let’s stand shoulder to shoulder in solidarity, showing that our support for the players and our opposition to the owner can go hand in hand. We also recognise the lifeblood of matchdays for our city – the local pubs, clubs, and venues that rely on Wednesday fans for their business. We urge all Owls to continue supporting all local establishments, ensuring that while our absent owner loses, our community doesn’t. This is a none ticket event. #SWFC #ChansiriOut #EnoughIsEnough

The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust supports the protests organised by the 1867 Group for this Saturday’s game at Hillsborough. We stand alongside all fans who are calling for change and demanding better for our football club. WHAT TO DO: To make protest a long-term presence at every game, we ask fans to stand and raise a black & gold scarf or flyer on 10 minutes, vocally challenging the ownership throughout the game. WHERE TO GET A SCARF: We’ll have 1,000 black & gold scarves available priced at a £5 minimum donation - cost price. Plenty will be available at future games. Available on a first come, first served basis from 1PM at the four locations on the map Please bring cash if possible to avoid delays — but we can take card too. Of course, supporters do not need to buy a scarf from us to take part — if you already have a black and yellow scarf, bring it and raise it as part of the protest. FLYERS: Black and gold protest flyers will also be available from the same four main distribution points, as well as other surrounding areas near the ground. These flyers are designed to be held up during the 10th-minute protest too. On the reverse, they include information for fans who may not be on social media — including how to get involved, volunteer, or share ideas for future actions. This will be our final flyer-based protest. We ask all supporters not to bin the flyers — instead, keep them, bring them to future matches, or display them in your windows as a clear message that Dejphon Chansiri is not welcome in Sheffield. STICKERS: We will also be distributing a limited selection of protest stickers before the game. These are a simple way to keep the message visible beyond matchday. Supporters are encouraged to use them responsibly and creatively. BANNERS: The club has refused to permit protest banners, supplied by the Trust. We would however encourage creative ways of displaying black and gold within the stadium. #SWFC #EnoughisEnough #BlackandGold

A new covenant between owners and fans | Maximising SWFC’s potential together The Trust’s Investment & Finance sub-committee, working in conjunction with the Football Supporters Association and other parties experienced in raising investment in football clubs, has been exploring models for fan investment in the Club alongside financial investors. We believe that the benefits of an engaged and supportive fanbase are clear to any new owner, through building a ‘new covenant’ with the fan base and repairing the trust between owner and fans that has been broken over the course of the last decade. Our planned structure brings together thousands of Wednesday fans, who we anticipate investing in the club for emotional and impact reasons, with those investors who are more financially motivated. Ahead of launching our investment plans to the wider fan base, we want to engage and consult with potential majority or anchor investors to shape the planned structure. The Trust would therefore like to engage with: Potential lead investors, be they individuals, funds or consortia seeking to buy Sheffield Wednesday Football Club. High net worth supporters of the Club who may be interested in investing in the Club. Please contact investors@swfctrust.co.uk with your contact details, and we will then arrange to speak with you or your representatives, subject to any Non-Disclosure Agreements that you wish to be put in place.

Following the uplifting cup win by our young team against Bolton, the Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust asked members whether they wanted the boycott on spending money at SWFC to be extended to attending the Carabao Cup game versus Leeds United game at Hillsborough on 26th August 2025. Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust members voted overwhelmingly in favour of the Trust backing a boycott and in line with those wishes, the Trust is urging all members not to attend this match in person and instead watch it on TV. To turn this into something positive, the Trust has set up a GoFundMe for any fans who would have ordinarily attended the game to donate the ticket money to Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity instead. We recognise that extending the boycott to match tickets is a significant step. However, the situation at the club continues to deteriorate. July’s salary payments were missed, our squad has been decimated, and there is still no visible progress towards a sale of the club. Please support the Trust. You can join as a full member here for £10 or for free as an associate member here.
