Beat week in week out
Brinsworthowl replied to Brinsworthowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Genuinely not judging any of the players.... any of the management... or any of the supporters who are turning up. Just really concerns me how much damage getting beat week after week after week is doing in the long term. -
Getting more and more concerned about long term effects of getting beat week in week out so far this season and for the remainder of the games. Not doing anyone any good...players supporters backroom staff etc. Only one man to blame i know but I worry it's going to take longer to turn this ship around once new owners arrive.

The 'soulless bowl' new ground debate
Brinsworthowl replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Stay at Hillsborough but knock down north, kop and Lepp one at a time. Keep separate stands feeling around pitch for the old school feel but fill the corners in with exec boxes, hospitality boxes, food and drink counters for the masses making concourse bigger for health n safety and stick one big curved roof over the whole lot. -
Only if we are filling all stands. People can be moved and restricted away support while work is done

Stay and refurb a stand at a time

And mel sterland -
1. Off field structure of management. CEO, director of football etc etc. 2. Immediately invest in all things training ground / development etc. 3. Recruit players as best we can and allowed to depending on embargo.. 4. Hot water in ground

In case anyone's concerned
Brinsworthowl replied to Wednesdayitewastaken's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I may be wrong but I think they have to follow rules and go with the highest bidder as part of the process. I don't think they can pick and choose who it's sold to. Obviously the new owners would have to pass tests too. That's how I have interpreted some other comments made anyway -
Hope I'm wrong but I fear there will be a lot more in Hillsborough tonight than the trust is hoping for

God this is just so sad watching this on the TV seeing Hillsborough like that. The memories we all have from in that ground and it's now come to this because of one man -

Totally agree. Thought it all game. Looks like a preseason -
I still love the club n yes we will be right back as soon as he's gone. My main problem is I lived through the early 90s with all the great football and footballers. Modern footballs just not the same

One of the last darren moore home games in regular season. Didn't go to Wembley then Chansiri smashed that summer up with Darren leaving. That was strike one, the final strike was listening to the interviews of that muppet Chansiri brought in as manager before Röhl. Just thought he was clueless and lost and then not been back since. Miss it loads as me n two kids used to go 9 or 10 games a season. Shirts for them both up until this season. He's got nowt from us.
