  1. The NDA reference is a smokescreen if you ask me. When pretty much any business of a noteable size is being sold everyone involved usually signs an NDA before any info swaps hands. And that includes buyer, seller, bank or funder, all legal and all financial advisors. It's pretty standard practice in the UK.
  2. Of course we are all desperate to win today! Goes without saying. I've just watched the service at the cenotaph and along with these posts .makes you realise it's just a game of football.
  3. Any business that doesn't pay HMRC on time us usually mismanaged or in financial difficulty in my opinion. Being in arrears on a payment to the crown is frowned upon by lenders, suppliers and obviously the football league. In my experience this is something to worry about. Time of year is irrelevant as a well run business would have the capital adequacy and funding to cover cash flow ebbs and flows. The fact is, he's not paid his bills on time. Again. There is no escaping that fact no matter how some may want to dress it up.
  4. I'd suggest so. My daughter has autism and always has something like this with her if we go somewhere for a period of time.
  5. Got a few mates who support Killi. They reckon Watson is excellent!
  6. I may be wrong but I don't think he has a plan whether we are in league 1 or not. Might be cheaper but income will be significantly less and the club as a whole (not just the team) needs major investment. If we get relegated I can see a further decline and maybe even a stint in league 2. The guy is clueless.
  7. Why does this matter. We know Chansori has form for banning individuals/refusing tickets when anyone "upsets" him. Just normal fans wanting the club to be run better and on a sustainable basis.
  8. I'm confused! Are we supposed to be giving the new manager time? Or do we need to hound him out before the end of August? Someone please tell me what to think! I would suggest that to think a brand new team playing a brand new formation/strategy may take more than 2 or 3 competitive games to gel and settle.
  9. Agree! Look at Man U! Offered De Gea a contract on reduced waged. Then pulled it when they found a better keeper and let him leave. Brutal, but thats football and as a club we need to be like that to progress. Similar decision will need to be made with Bannan at some point unless he moves on to the coaching staff.
  10. As someone else has just said the actual worst case is that we go in to admin when he has spent all this front loaded cash and we can't afford the running costs from next year/year after. I would run a mile if I was asked to fund a business that had this operating model! People need to separate the "premium product" idea from the actual cash flow implications it creates. Seems to me that our chairman is unfortunately painting himself (and more worryingly) the club in to a corner and soon there will be no way out.
  11. I don't post on here often but here goes. I'm in a fortunate position that I could afford an early bird season ticket. Or a season ticket at any point. But I live in York and am a sole parent to 2 kids, one of which plays football every weekend so a season ticket just doesn't work for me. I'm also fortunate that I could afford to pay the POTG prices, but from a principle point of view I just can't justify that as those prices are just crazy! There has been loads of talk about how our chairman talks to the press and fans. I was always told in management that if you are not good at something the delegate it to someone in your team that is better than you. No shame in that and he needs to realise that, as much as he may love the club (and plough ££££'s in to it) there is undoubtedly someone better placed to communicate with the fans and media. As many have said, the feel good feeling is drifting away and it seems to be down to pure stubbornness in terms of listening to people who may know more the the chairman does.
  12. 25-1 to be next Leeds manager on Paddy Power. Only 9-1 on sky bet!
  13. Could we borrow the Man City squad for one night? They bagged 4 tonight quite easily!
  14. China and Saudis! Is this not a double racist post! Outrageous!
  15. They are doing a right job on us here. Can't get the ball down in midfield and no link up play to the forwards!
