Freed from Chansiri Wednesdays back we're on the rise

Amazing. Me and my 2 kids will be there and doing all we can to support. Gonna get down there early so they can soak up the atmosphere as we haven't been in 18 months, thankfully they haven't lost their love for the owls. Kids want Ozzie teddies so I hope they're in stock programmes, pies the lot. Thanks to everyone involved, administrators, all staff at SWFC.

Personally if we are going to start with a new era and a fresh start I think we need something a bit more modern than songs from the 60s or 70s. Something the younger fans and next generation will relate to also. Hi Ho Sheffield Wednesday was being sung by fans only a few years after the song came out. I think it would be good if we look at something from at least the last 20 years or so that the younger fans next generation can get behind too.

What an effort by the fans. Considering they raised 10 grand the other day for the hotel for Blackburn and on top of that the £500k raised through tickets and merch. Incredible!

People are getting confused I think. The Walton's used to own Asda but they don't anymore. They still have a stake and a member on the board but the Issa brothers and TDR capital bought Asda out. I think when people talk about Asda they mean the Walton's. Who no longer own Asda.

Agree with all of this. I also believe something like this is more than just paying for a hotel. It builds unity, it shows the players and club we are behind them. This must have an effect on the players and club, whether we think we are down or not. Other fundraisers can be set up and people will donate. But this just shows the love for the club the fans have, and will send a powerful message to the players, staff, club and prospective buyers.

Didn't manage to get to this in time to donate as I'm away on holiday. Massive respect to everyone for smashing it in an hour. Unreal fans I've just donated to the trusts fundraiser to do my bit

We live in York but me and my two kids are coming down for it. First game since Plymouth last season. Kids have desperately missed it and I want them to see what the atmosphere can really be like. Later nights are no problem on special occasions

Raise some much needed cash for the club, and the person that buys them gets to dispose of them in any way they see fit. Win win!

Shame but it seems he wants a quicker fix. Don't think he wants a league 1 team which we will be.

Definitely wanted to stay relevant one last time. He's had years to apologise and now only wants to do it when his hand has been forced.

Probably would have been a back handed apology which in some way blamed the fans anyway. Gas lighting at its finest!
