Packages were for signing up to 4 games. As a few said on here, at this time of year some could only make 3 which made the package no better value if you didn’t fork out for a membership. Maybe it should have been a 3 game from 4 package but too late now. So thousands of walk ups for SU game at eye watering prices, following on from big turn outs for Oxford/Norwich with big spends on concourses. Fans have been spaffing money like drunken sailors on shirts and other merch. Buying sponsorships, mascots, tours as well as donating to fund raising initiatives. Because some didn’t want to spend £31-41 on a winter afternoon when some are getting the trimmings out then I’m going to give them a pass given what’s gone on at S6 with DC’s fan friendly pricing policy

Harry Kane has an amazing penalty record and yet he missed that one v France in World Cup (after scoring with a pen in same game!!) Pens always favour the taker but even the best can miss. We’ve seen Bannan miss open play pens so whatever taker yesterday could have been hero or zero. If a defender had scored our 2 goals with headers from set pieces then stepped up to take the pen, then I’d be saying it was a bad decision but McNeil is a striker. Pens are confidence and technique. He had the former in spades but less so the latter. It happens. It’s not a conspiracy to punish our long suffering home fans. Move on.

KW said that DC was owed about £28M @25% and rest of creditors make up just under £2M at 25p in pound. So that’s £7-8M owed to local supplies or other businesses who need as much of that back as they can. Punish DC then you also punish them. That’s the administration system. If you know any local businesses who have been waiting to be paid for however long, then you know many are just ticking along. Quite rightly we were all angry when staff weren’t getting paid but seem to park that when it comes to others who did work but received no money for doing so. The higher the bid, the more these small/medium business will get back. Think on that when Ashley/Jordan are making their low offers. True, it is only worth what it is worth, but hopefully the auction means it goes to parties who really want the basket case of a club and it’s mad fans. WAWAW

"Alexa, define 'Entitled'" Enjoy L1 - it could easily become L2 the season after. Just look at Plymouth.

We do. Then text number is on the big screen every match. Not just discrimination but anti-social as well. Found this interesting with the different tariffs of banning. Wonder how may times they have been implemented? https://www.swfc.co.uk/fans/supporter-conduct -
"Ashley OUT!" Has a nice ring to it. Just starting early for xmas.

Wembley of the North no more

Does the semi-final count as an 'odd game'? Hosted several games - obviously missed the massed ranks of Dutch and Swedish fans around the City. -
Our walk is 2.5 hours to ground from south Sheffield. I know that thanks to having zero public transport on Boxing Day matches! Some viable plots this end of the city - just saying (messing)

Mike Ashley in coming, along with....

This will go full on auction. It’s all about raising the most £££ for creditors. -
That was the first season ticket I ever bought myself. £67 in south uncovered seats I believe. That was about the fortnightly giro amount so no board and lodging money for my mum that month. All my family are/were Blunts so they didn't understand. They said I was an obtuse child. What a great season. Thanks for the memories.

Should residents of Vere Road be bracing themselves for bumper property payday if our prospective billionaire overlords decide to redevelop? Whole street wouldn't cost that much in the scheme of things, if you'd got deep pockets. -
The 2026-2027 rebuild.

Keep the kids and everyone else say bye bye and thank you for your service. Unfortunately we will be seeing quite a few of the current has-beens and never-will-be in L1 next season. But one day it will change. Patience -
Even though Zippy and George's legs have gone? Bungle was already up front for us wasn't he?

This is what the new owner will be buying

'Cum on feel the noize' to start second half - to be greeted by silence. Needed a bit of 'Singing the blues' to reset the fans. Not going to criticise fans after being forced to watch that display today though. We go again Wednesday. -
Until Cooper came on, hasn't Weaver (an albeit talented novice) been the only recognised CB we've had in the league this season? Iorfa, Lowe, Palmer are all full backs playing as makeshift CB's. The home defeats particularly have shown up how poor the defence is. Only an 18 year old Amass playing his proper role. By all means criticise how poor individuals are, and feel free to pile on today as it's a bit raw at the moment BUT don't think your making the great revelation you believe. We all have eyes and can see the mess we've been left with. It is what it is for the rest of the season. At the end of it we probably say goodbye to many players but I prefer to thank them for what they have indured this year without jumping ship. (Ugbo excepted) I will leave it for the opposition to slag off our players - they don't need it from us this season.

Ugbo can flick right off. Plastic footballer.

To be fair, HP dropped him for Brown who he tried to create a partnership with Cadz. When Brown gets injured it's either Ugbo back in the mix or throw in another kid. HP is using his manager's head which says surely Ugbo has a goal in him somewhere. However we need to start to listen to both head and heart which now are both agreed that Ugbo is a busted flush. His appearances going forward to Jan should be very limited and then offload. I'm done with him.

A good result today would be Wilder getting Das Boot!

Heard he's a right slippery customer who just wants to clean up - it's a no from me.

Players are looked after far better than ever before, and that's a good thing surely? To say they are softer today is a bit of a cop out. It's comparing race horses to cart horses. (Not saying former is better than latter in anyway either!) Modern era players are very finely tuned athletes and as such are very susceptible to the slightest strain, pull, twist or tear. Muscles can go ping at any time. Sports Science is exactly that - a whole new sphere of sport that has helped create super athletes across every sport. When your entire training regime was a run through Greno woods after a shift at work, then you probably could cope with being hacked down by full bodied tackles each week. Previous generations of players were my heroes, as the latest are to a new generation of fan. I don't think we have to criticise injured players to win an unnecessary argument.
