  1. I don’t want to make a thread but I’ve been told that DC will be there on Saturday
  2. I went to watch Parkgate play and had to call out a few Rotherham fans taking the p1ss out of us, won't be going back there again.
  3. This is Chansiri we're talking about, he doesn't think or plan for the future! None of it makes sense why he's still here when he clearly cannot afford it, it's in black and white from the EFL. He has to sell, but he won't. We're going to rot until HMRC, IFR or club creditors can do something to remove him. Who knows when that will be, but I'd be very surprised if it's this year and I'm not expecting it to be this season either.
  4. there it is, in black and white. The boycott is so important, he's got nowhere else to go, nobody lending him anymore money. But if he gets to January, he'll get early bird money, even if a lot less than normally, He'll sell Charles and Bailey and he'll get next installment of TV money This is his plan
  5. yes I've just resigned to the fact we're dropping down the leagues. I was always convinced he'd be gone by November as soon as IFR came in but that's going to take longer than we hoped. I've started trying non-league on Saturdays now, not the same and it's getting even worse now it's colder.
  6. What minute is Ian Bennett’s interview anyone?
  7. Need to boycott games now. Can’t believe so many still going
  8. Ha ha ha I know him, he's a ******** nutter, being banned won't stop him. I saw him at Burnley away last season
  9. may as well get the points deductions out the way this season, it's bound to happen. but as long as we can get GOOD new owners and start a rebuild next season, does anyone really care? If we pick up points against the pigs and get rid of Chansiri, this season will have been an unbelievable success all considering.
  10. when we're under new ownership, no matter what mess or league we find ourselves in, hillsborough is going to be a special place. Look at clubs who have big fan bases and go through some absolute shyte like we are at the minute and their fan base grows, not just in numbers but there's a real togetherness I use Leeds as an example, we all know they played at ER in front of half empty crowds, and can remember several times they came to Hillsborough and didn't even fill the upper tier. But look at where they are now on / off the pitch. They have waiting lists for season tickets. Leeds may be a bigger club in terms of they have more fans and more recent success than us, but doesn't mean when we come out of the other side Hillsborough is packed more often than just them big games at the end of the season and the steel city derby. It'll be worth it when we're there.
  11. thought we were getting taken over in 2 weeks?
  12. must have some coin the trust, them printed balloons not as cheap as you think
  13. cheers mate. That was a great watch, Röhl wasn’t spoke about glowingly was he…. The Chansiri stuff was funny. not letting him go to derby on loan because they relegated us even though he wasn’t in our 25 man squad and Derby were paying all his wages
  14. VAR has killed football at the "top level" for me Was chatting to an Everton fan on holiday and he said you can only celebrate a goal at 75% compared pre-VAR where and you could just have a quick glance at the linesman if it was a tight one and then celebrate as much as you want. Now you celebrate but you hold back in case you look a ******** if it gets ruled out. I guess there's a few exceptions if a goal goes in from range, but even then a player can be stood 1cm offside and they'll rule it out for blocking keepers view. I'll always support Wednesday and who knows maybe we'll have VAR one day and I'll have no choice but to put up with it, but I'll enjoy it less I just love the day out at football, beers before and after better than any game of football anyway.
  15. all the evidence suggests he hasn't got millions put away from this stadium charge, I'd be amazed. Not paying PAYE is pretty desperate stuff and if he's prioritising the stadium charge over that, HMRC I'm sure will issue us with a winding up order pretty soon after.
  16. He might still pay this month's wages, not been confirmed he won't... Oh hang on, there's no chance if he's not even got the money to pay the PAYE on the wages which isn't even his money to spend anyway
  17. where's this from mate? Would be an interesting listen if you don't mind sending a link or pointing me in the right direction
  18. tried to find a pic of it, couldn't find one but did stumble on this
  19. Oh I loved that interview. Barry Bannan is a wednesday legend. End of. Build a statue.
  20. You know what I mean though, he's not a youth player is he, he's 20 and played games under Röhl last season. He's a young 1st team player and my point was, I'm glad we've played Weaver over him.
  21. I think we'll see a re-born of our support and the atmosphere is going to be 1000 x better and bigger gates too once we get some decent owners in, however long that will be
  22. Good piece and glad we're not persisting with under performing 1st team player such as Otgebayo, Lowe and Ugbo just because they are more senior, this season has to be all about bringing through the Youth players. Hope to see more given a chance soon. However the bit that hit me was this line, all just so depressing isn't it " There's nothing to suggest a takeover is likely any time soon (quite the opposite, actually). "
  23. Any idea if we signed Asaba in the end?
