  1. What do we make of this “stuff was said in the tunnel” that Wilder is talking about?
  2. Agree. There’s been no leadership from the club for with these matters for years.
  3. I saw stuff chucked after the goal, and then maybe when ref gave another ridiculous decision near the kop. Did that wierdo Sydie Peck have something launched at him when he told fans to fack off?
  4. Good to see they’re getting dragged back down to earth so soon after Sunday
  5. I’d take on some loans to help us limp through the rest of the season, but also look to bring in freebies who’ll be part of the plans for next season. Important that we begin to assemble next seasons squad as soon as possible imo. Also, if new owners wish to bring in a new manager then let’s get that sorted before the end of the season as well. Would be nice to just have a settled summer/pre season with no drama for a change.
  6. The depleted squad and the current state of the club is his fault. Absolutely. Fact we don’t really have much on the bench that can change a game is his fault. I fully expected us to lose today, but I didn’t expect us to be so spineless. We’ve lost plenty of games this season but we’ve given it our all. Today I didn’t see any of that fighting spirit and togetherness. Disappointing.
  7. Sheffield business park. Most of the old runway is wasteland still. It’s amongst businesses though, and road access perhaps not suitable for the level traffic match day produces.
  8. We’ll be suffering from Chansiri’s legacy for some time. Difference right now though is the administrators, club, and fans are all pulling in the same direction and there is a very real effort being made into generating cash to pay wages, and flog the club. I know that won’t be of much comfort to the folks affected, mind. But hopefully all of this can be resolved in the not too distant future.
  9. Goes to how much staff were held back from showing some creativity and generating other revenue streams.
  10. Yeah think he mentioned borrowing against the EFL money which is due in Jan.
  11. It’s the chairman of Hallam FC, Richard Pillinger.
  12. It’s just mad supporting this club isn’t it. Gone from looking like Chansiri clinging on, to him gone, and evidence of his existence in the process of being removed in just a few hours. The clouds have lifted, just like that.
  13. Presumably Bristol are paying for everything?
  14. Okay so what I fear is right then, that we don’t necessarily have to be put into admin first…they can go direct to shutting us down. gulp
  15. Just checking. Does this mean HMRC can just liquidate us basically? There’d be no administration and a chance for someone to buy us for a quid etc. That was the threat in 2009 wasn’t it when we were on the high court steps?
  16. I know it’s frustrating and disappointing that people are buying tickets for this, especially those people who would rather go because “they don’t want to be told what to do”. But 7-10k attendance for a game that would usually be over 20k is still a big statement.
  17. Yeah that’s right. They ended up delaying it, and whilst they never said why, when they did eventually go on sale it was cash only, or PayPal online. Was very likely that the bank and/or the payments service provider wouldn’t allow the club to sell tickets that early based on our credit rating/financial status because it put the risk on the bank - people would be able to claim refunds from the banks if club had collapsed into admin.
  18. “We’ll be able to investigate Sheffield Wednesday and get the evidence very, very quickly because there’s lots of it around. We’ll take whatever action is necessary.." Tick Tock Dejphon.
  19. If Chansiri was in the ground I think folk would be a lot more animated. I think some folk struggle to get angry at an empty seat. I know I do. That’s probably why starving him of revenue is the most important tool for our protesting.
  20. Getting kicked out of the league isn’t something I’d want to risk at this time tbh. That would be far worse for the club and its future at this time. Players striking is the very last resort. Whilst it’s pretty grim, I don’t think we’re quite in the realms of last resort yet - we have one last chance with the IFR.
  21. Really sad news. RIP Xbana Milan
