  1. I don’t get posts like this It’s why other teams fans call us deluded. In football you tend to be where you deserve so even if we don’t deserve to be in League one due to Chancer - we should not be disrespectful to other teams that are there. We have been in League one (or bottom end championship trying to avoid relegation there) more often in the last 25 years than anywhere else
  2. I get it Tommy - but we will probably be holding that record for ever and let’s face it next years squad won’t give a flying f+** about that because none of them will have played in this season Anyway let’s look on the bright side - we still hold the record as the last team outside the Prem to win a major trophy (34 years on)
  3. Except McNeil has taken two previous penalties for the club and scored then both. He was confident and up for it. It was definitely NOT a charity penalty. It’s a shame he missed but not the end of the world. We would still have got a point if Clown Hands at the other end didn’t take 15 minutes to get down to a shot…
  4. I prefaced by saying if you can afford to go… not going because we keep getting battered or are uncompetitive is not an excuse
  5. Spoke to a ManU fan about McNeil - said he was a terrific finisher - a striker - we need to play him in that role maybe 2 up top (but played as 2 should - ie close together not one with one behind He is not a 10. He is not a “wide right” His passing is not great and he never looks up quick enough BUT if he is a player (and he hasn’t been given a chance yet) I think it’s as An out and out striker (but not on his own)
  6. I just think it’s not a good enough excuse to say I don’t go becuase it was cold and we aren’t going to win and it’s sh i t. You can either afford to go in which case you should go (or you aren’t the super fan you think) All Clubs have fair weather supporters I thought we wanted to show we were hardcore?
  7. Yeah but we aren’t in the Prem…. most teams cannot play possession based football successfully. Our current squad has absolutely 0% chance of doing it…
  8. Yeah but Ugbo wasn’t broken then and it was the right thing to do to try to get him firing - Röhl gave up in him after Xmas…
  9. Would have still contributed 400% more than Ugbo if that plane had crashed and he came back with two broken legs…
  10. Ordinarily I agree. I don’t think they did try their hardest today. They should have crawled off that pitch with blood turned to water - apart from Amass not sure any did. We aren’t saving our selves for anything. We aren’t preserving legs for the “relegation fight”. We are down. That was the only game that mattered and the players and manages definitely did not give their best
  11. I didn’t think we would win today but the manner of the defeat and lack of fight was unforgiveable They didn’t get out of second gear. I think most fans are p i ss ed off about that rather than the loss per se…
  12. Serious question. Why? What about his tactics or motivation makes you think that. We would be better playing McNeil than Ugbo - frankly anyone but him. This was the biggest game of the season for us (the only one that mattered) why not play your more effective players. Cadz is definitely not a young David Hirst but he offers way more than Ugbo. That is inarguable. It’s like starting with 10 men with Ugbo (or 9.5 if you chuck in Lowe’s risible performance today. Yes today IS on Pedersen (clearly was unable to move or motivate that team to put a performance in) just as much as it was all the players but he set them up like that - he played that formation and he encouraged them to play possession based passing out from the back with players that are so unsuited for it it makes me think he absolutely is not the one to take us forward. The idea as some have suggested that he was the “brains” behind Röhl is frankly laughable
  13. At least they could fill that one occasionally…
  14. This - even though the players absolutely let us down massively today people should stay ti the end - an act of defiance if nothing else
