Absolutely this. Most industries have been using this as a way to get tax back. There are well known accountants who have encouraged it. Many companies and accountants are now waiting for the consequences as HMRC are cracking down and going back years to get the money back.

Yes we can. But these players would need to be fit every week. Years ago teams would manage with a core of players that would play every week but things have moved on and players are now pushed to the limits of human physical ability such that there is a bigger risk of injury. So while I say yes, at today's level we know we will have our more than average level of injury and this, without a stronger squad, would be our downfall unfortunately.

Absolutely this. These are the players we have and he needs to get the best out of them. How he does it is down to him and the players once he gets to know them. Unfortunately he doesn't have a lot of time to do it.

You are right. I must admit I am feeling more confident with TP in charge. We are getting what I expected; consistent displays and tight games. Circumstances with red cards, no striker's etc have made it more difficult, so well done so far. BUT With GM we would have been inconsistent, probably been hammered in some games, especially last night, but also just as likely to have won one, as we had as mentioned by Manwe above. We would most likely be on the same points but I think the consistent displays will win out in the end especially if we are able to get a more balanced side in the transfer window.

Hope he does better than with his set pieces and corners.

You are correct in yesterday's game. But PNE were terrible, it didn't look as if they wanted to win. If we had been playing someone decent we would have been hammered.

Absolutely this. We are not going to turn into a attractive high scoring team overnight. Surely we would be happier playing this way and winning rather than as we currently are; not playing well and not getting many points. My only concern is if people on here are right and we are going to play hoofball who are we going to hoof it to, Paterson? Not sure he is the man but we shall see. Perhaps Pulis will recognise this and play a different way.

We agree. Playing in a "system" that you don't agree with or understand must be incredibly frustrating. They also have the problem that if they don't follow instructions they will be dropped.

I don't disagree with what you are saying but I can't let the players off so lightly. They are professional footballers and should be able to put on a better display than that.
