Both Kris and Paul are responding to the question of how long this process will take and they are describing the shortest and longest version of that - not a preference, just why it is difficult to pinpoint an actual takeover date. No way will it be a case of … A UK bid is 5m less than a consortium bid - however it’s gonna be quicker so we go with that one - it will be highest bidder and the timescale for EFL approval will be what it is
