Has any club ever had 6 or more embargoes at the same time? It must be a new record.

The EFL is a membership organisation. It can only enforce the rules that the members decide on. As the members are the clubs which be default means the owners it's unlikely that they're going to make owning clubs more difficult. This is one of the reasons an independent regulator is being put in place by the government.

Posted on SWFC page, really sad news. RIP Milan.

We must be the most embargoed club ever in the EFL. 5 at the same time following on from the 3 earlier in the season.

I think its because he's a bell end.

Meadowhall staff car park would be an ideal spot for a stadium site if they'd sell. Next to the M1, Train station and tram network within walking distance, not in the middle of a residential area which causes problems for people (I know the stadium and club were there first!). Other side of the viaduct there could be potential for car parking.

Supporters' Trust - Boycott Stance

I thought the same, too much information. The communications need to be short and to the point or you lose the reader before they get half way through. -
Confirmed on his Instagram account. Gutted for him as he'd performed really well in his appearances so far this year.

He does "I do my best" "I back my manager"

If he cant raise the cash to pay probably the smallest monthly payroll in the last 10 years then theres even more serious questions that need asking (for him to just ignore)

They were in an official report completed by Eastwood and Partners, the clubs structural engineers. I doubt they would provide fake photographs.

No work has taken place.

- 12pts would be my guess, with 6pts being suspended for 2 seasons.

I imagine that the club / owner would do the same as many others have done and borrow the money for a new stadium should they choose to go down that route. They'd likely have to do the same to fund the costs of repairing all the issues with Hillsborough and then any redevelopment costs and improvements on top.

Staying at Hillsborough will require significant investment just to keep it open. There's issues with every stand that need addressing. Concrete spalling, cracking in the terraces, roof problems, lack of space on concourses, lack of emergency exits from the stands, corrosion problems, posts restricting views, lack of corporate facilities, having to be under 5ft 6 to have legroom, not hot water etc etc. Hillsborough is a 100+ year old stadium, and it's shows, it should have been different but decades of under investment have left it literally rotting away. It's sad to see. Any serious investor / owner will no doubt look at the options for a new stadium.

To be fair, they've probably not been. Paid or paid late. And they will only communicate information that they're given by others at the club.

Hillsborough is coming to the end of it's usable lifespan and every stand needs significant investment just to continue to use them in the short to medium term. The north stand debacle is literally the tip of the iceberg. New stadium would be on the cards for any serious investor imo.

I asked them if the recent issues with selling tickets for an unsafe stand up to the day of the prohibition notice, that the club appears to be trading whilst insolvent and was again unlikely to meet it's salary obligations would trigger any change to their view that he is a fit and proper person to be an owner / director of the club. Their answer, clearly is a no. I didn't have any preconceived ideas of what they may do I just asked a question. The person I replied to with my post asked if it meant the EFL might take action. Perhaps you missed that part of the post.

He won't need to, he'll only need to pay the interest that's due on the loan which will be much less, it never gets repaid in full.

I'll summarise The reply that I received today from the EFL to an email I sent earlier in the week. These are copy and pasted from their response: "As a competition organiser, the EFL’s powers to intervene and force regime change in such situations are limited." "Despite the actions of the owner, the EFL has not identified a Disqualifying Condition against him in the context of our existing rules (OADT), which limits any specific action in relation to his ongoing involvement or indeed any action to force divestment" "In respect of ongoing matters relating to the Club’s Stadium, it is not the responsibility of the League to determine the safety of a stand or area of a Club’s ground." Fair to say that they're not planning on doing anything.
