I do get your point, and it's a good one also. I just find it hard to let go of wanting the team to do as well as possible at the moment - and can also see the morale benefit of supporting them at away games - not that I've attended to any. It's been a wonderful thing seeing opposition fans support our cause - with Leicester City & Wrexham particularly standing out.

1/ It costs more than a few tens of thousands of pounds to keep the club going 2/ It demonstrates our support for the players, keeping their pecker up 3/ There's administrative costs to counteract a portion of it also

He ran Wednesday on a shoestring budget, but we steadied from where we had been and even sold us to someone with money to invest. Just unfortunate that that person came with all sorts of failings that couldn’t have been predicted.

I’m on the fence for this one. I was thinking just today that the players are the ones keeping the club alive for when a better owner comes along to take us over.
