  1. 3rd game in the week, although the derby wasn’t a game really as we simply stood around not doing a great deal for 98 mins. 0-2 sadly
  2. Agree entirely. I didn’t expect to win but I thought we’d make it hard for them. The complete lay down and tickle the belly was a right kick in the nads, and for many another kick as it took away the huge positivity surrounding the club. Some kind of result would be wonderful. But I doubt it, this being the 3rd game in the week.
  3. If Ashley takes over sentiment won’t exist full stop. He hasn’t for where he is with sentiment. Hard nosed business man.
  4. That’s actually quite funny
  5. Think that’s a good shout, be a bit painful if we couldn’t add to the squad. Surely though, with players set to leave at the end of the season there would have to be some negotiation. Let’s see.
  6. That’s how I read it to be fair. Including further points deductions suggesting something else as well. Never mind, it is what it is.
  7. There’s numerous threads about it all and responses without going through it all again. But, having slept on it, the overriding factor for many fans, certainly myself was not so much the defeat, but the manner in which we lost. Anyone with any sensible reasoning would have looked at their side, then looked at our and would have understood that they would have to have a poor afternoon and everything for us would have had to go right. It’s ok saying, yea but they have been poor and lost to nearly every side they have played, but so have we often without scoring ourselves and conceding silly goals at ridiculous times through our own stupidity. But back to the point, it was how we just capitulated appearing to show absolutely zero heart, fight etc in arguably our biggest game of the season. And it’s that sad fact that has annoyed many fans yesterday. If you can’t score then at least let’s make it an ugly game and be hard to beat. The opposition should be thinking these were hard to beat although they can’t score they are hard to play against. Sadly we were neither. That’s enough from me on the matter. Onto midweek and Millllllllllllll…………..next.
  8. I was just thinking the same thing, it’s the Wednesday way. Trouble is he ain’t scoring or creating or working hard. Everything seems half arsed and just running around a bit. Just bloody lazy and he really needs a change of scenery for his own career benefit.
  9. Right now I’d rather see a young lad given the chance. One who isn’t even ready because sadly Ugbo is like carrying a wounded animal He offers absolutely zero and frankly I think he damn Lazy. At least you would see some effort with someone who Isn’t quite ready. Let him go out on loan in January offering to pay his wages for a few months. Because right now he’s absolutely no use to us wages or not.
  10. The tide will turn. Absolutely convinced of this. We have been royally screwed over by the him who can't be named. Things will change for this club.
  11. I agree in that if you play the same 11 baring one or two, week in week out then two things are going to happen. Injuries, and a team that can't go 90 mins because they are absolutely knackered despite an international break. You can't change the formation too much because we are already playing players out of natural positions. That said, I thought we were lazy in our passing, in out thought process and decision making all over the park. For me, today, I'd have tried to make it difficult for them all over the park. Challenge for everything, give them no space, no time. Literally a cup tie. Sadly, we did none of that and received a thumping which could have easily been 5 or 6. Thank goodness it wasn't.
  12. If he was about 10 stone heavier then yes.
  13. Erm Chris, you know that offer we made, can we retract it.
  14. Agree it's been shocking for a derby by us. Very disappointing.
  15. Beating us despite it being a derby is no great achievement.
  16. Sadly, very very poor by us today. Given them the game and offered nothing at all.
  17. fizz me, whose at the side of Wilder, his grandad?
  18. Exactly. If you can't match the skill you can at least match the effort
  19. We played better against Coventry and Stoke. I think the lack of pre season and naff all signing wise and injuries are coming home to roost.
  20. Thats what is sad about today. Not enough pride effort committment for me today despite our complete lack of skill and ability.
  21. Classic example there of zero support. Vallery had no option but to run the channel not a player supporting him.
  22. We are not good enough to move the ball quickly. It gives any team playing us especially one with good players time to set themselves. We take an age doing anything. Zero outlet at all.
  23. So much of our poor play is avoidance if we make better decisions
