So 30,000 people pay £40 to Chansiri so they can invade the pitch, OR 30,000 people don't turn up to the game, give Chansiri money and don't then go on the pitch as they are not in the stadium?

Football Heaven special tonight featuring Kieran Maguire
room0035 replied to FH Team's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Would be nice for Radio Sheffield to reach out to New Avenue to find out whats happening with the ground. Are they negotiating with Chansiri or are they looking to take ownership via a creditors agreement. Thus pushing Sheffield Wednesday Football Club Limited into administration via their ultimately owner Sheffield 2 who have the loan from Sheffield 3? -
BREAKING: just days from a winding-up order over tax bill
room0035 replied to MattP's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
The Thai food group set up by Kaison Chansiri, all the male member of the Chansiri family have involvement except one. the thais and the Chansiri know Dejphon is the only idiot in the village, its the reason his father and brother let him no where near the family business. i don't buy this saving face excuse, he's spent his whole life getting his own way and doing what he wants, and probably spent most of that time with either his father or brother stepping in each time to sort the issue. It was very telling how quick the TUF group stepped in to quash the link to DC, I suspect they took for offence from that than anything he continues to do to Sheffield Wednesday. -
So presumably you have never seen a football club issued with a winding up order before. It is normally followed by a statement from the club that the debt has been paid in full. HMRC are very good at getting money from those they know can pay they are just choosing not too.

I suspect the worst of what he is or has done has not seen the light of day yet, as there is zero reason for him to stick around unless..... -

Swiftly follow by an increase in the Early bird prices by 20%. Telling fans it's up to you to save the club. -

If we go into admin the clue is sold to the person best placed to run it, also know as not Chsnsiri. -
BREAKING: just days from a winding-up order over tax bill
room0035 replied to MattP's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
We go into admin, he loses everything as yes he keeps the stadium , but then New Avenue go after him for the loan owed which he cannot pay and they take ownership of the stadium. Best case scenario someone buys the club out of admin, the same person purchases a knockdown price Hillsborough. We move forward and slowly rebuild the club. Worse case scenario we ceased to exists and the club I have supported all my life is gone. -
Raising a Sheffield Wednesday striker - or two
room0035 replied to YesWeCrann's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Or it doesn't work out at Man City and they release him in 2 years and we pick him up on a free. Being back home, he gets the buzz and ends up being the next Marco Van Basten. -
I thought the guy I replied to was taking about new owners after Chansiri's gone.
-
I understand your point, but each season there are so many good free agents, we are just too slow to get them. Other teams spend 12 months a year looking for player under Chansiri it always felt like we didn't start until the window opened and it was always a last week Scrabble for the dregs. I also suspect any new owner may get the transfer ban reduced to just January should they take over soon. As for the EFL just continuing to show how pointless and useless they are. More bother about themselves than the fans.

Sounds like a very special person whose done a lot of good in his life for others. RIP

But equally if a lot of places have the same information, at what point do you say they are all wrong, because you dont believe them.

Any spare tickets for Charlton?
room0035 replied to The Real London Owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Get yourself on facebook, loads of people buying the tickets then 2-3 hours later posting that the are unable to attend. Its almost as if they were never going to the games just buying the tickets for something else.... -
We never know for certain but several sites online seem to suggest he is. https://www.capology.com/club/sheffield-wednesday/salaries/ https://www.salaryleaks.com/football/english-championship/sheffield-wednesday https://www.interestingfootball.com/2025/08/sheffield-wednesday-fc-players-salary.html

When you think we got Beadle and Charles in, for less than £10,000 a week but we paying Chalobah, £20,000 a week and he is yet to play a full 90 minute game at the club, managing barely playing 500 minutes in 55 games. Ugbo and Chalobah are going to cost us £2m in wages this season. Weaver, Brown, Charles, Cademateri, Otegbayo, Fusire, McNeil will, I suspect cost us less than what those two cost us this season.

Will be ok at League One level but has he been training anywhere as could be 6-8 weeks before he's even match fit to play.

Question to Away supporters - Are you renewing?
room0035 replied to Heeleyowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Or and this is radical so bare with me, we do what 80+ other professionals football teams do and not renew until the current season has finished. -
Which young players did you expect to make it?
room0035 replied to WimJunk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Alex Hunt look to have everything we need for a great central midfielder but like every youth player in the last 10-15 years they got zero game time. The same for Thorniley and Lavery. Burst into scene then got forgot. All 3 are having or had professional careers but not with us. -
Problem is the sky deal signed every 3 to years, so if we all watch sky or no one watches sky, will make zero difference to what money they club get.
-
We have a group of fans who are complete Muppets. They buy tickets for away games then 2-3 hours later are on social media using all the excuses they can to sell the tickets on because they cannot make the game. THEY BOUGHT THEM THIS MORNING AND CANT MAKE THE GAME BY THE AFTERNOON. I am sorry but these people are Muppets, they are not fans they are spending money for priority points and any fans who genuinely want to go to the games miss out. There might be the odd genuine reason for most are on every week with the same excuse, the same ones today were saying they couldn't make the Wrexham game or the Leicester game.
-
When as a club we are so dependent of the youth at the club, we really are ******** ******** poor at giving any sort of platform for them. a starting 11, a few details then coverage of the game. Is it really too much to ask of the club.
-
No but there was season ticket specific questions in the survey as well as general fans questions.

Boycotting games and mental health
room0035 replied to Nannan's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Would these be the same fans that sit in silence, leave 60 minutes when we are losing and need their half time pint to help with their mental health. What amazes me is the fans that go on a Saturday, then say they had to go to the Grimsby cup game for their mental health. i think whats been allowed to happen to my team this season has affected my mental health a lot more, than missing the occasional game.
