  1. Not sure what manager is meant to do, we have very limited players to work with, our new bodies cannot just be chucked in for large periods to start, if we want to keep them injury free. we have youngsters that people want to be given a run, yet in games gone by I’ve seen slagging of the youngsters that are making it onto the pitch. our players are giving it a go, last two games we should, and could arguably have taken points from two teams up there. I don’t mind pederson getting a go at it, on basis I also genuinely don’t know who we’d even appoint in league one, nobody screams “go get them”
  2. A season of games at league one level might really help him blossom, will be interesting to see
  3. If he wants to stay, seems a no brainer to me. Task of rebuilding is mammoth as it is, with lack of players and transfer embargo’s. Personally think he’s better than League 1 standard anyway, and feel like he may go back across to the Bundesliga 2
  4. Have a feeling McNeil could be a big player for us next season, assuming he stays. Perhaps not quite at champ level in terms of consistency, but has moments where he shows nice bits of quality. Unlucky to not score tonight, it’ll come.
  5. When he’s on the ball, I get the same confident feeling as when BB’s on it. Doesn’t matter where it is on the pitch, just feel like we aren’t in danger
  6. Think Fusire is really starting to grow into the team now. Liking the potential at the moment for him at RWB
  7. If we end up losing Charles in summer, I’d have no problem with us bringing him back as first choice next season, especially on assumption we are likely to go down.
  8. Think now is a perfect opportunity to bring out all and any Wednesday songs, Let’s make the evening about us, the club, the fans, the players, the manager, our club. Would be bliss to keep our previous tenant out of frame.
  9. If we are allowed to, would be a no brainer. The squad is being worked into the ground, no need to actively choose to run them further into it, if we can bring some bodies in, whether it’s 6 months or not. Still some decent bottom champ / top league one players available on a free (admittedly I assume there will be issues with a portion of them, being without a club at this stage) but we aren’t exactly the most attractive proposition either. Could it be feasible to offer short term deals with option from club to extend if deemed feasible. Same with loans, a great chance to show the clubs above that we can treat there players well. Get the opportunity in now, and then if we set a positive impression, it’ll only do us well next season. Not saying it’ll suddenly send us on an immense run, but, our squad is paper thin. (For what it’s worth, they are still leaving everything on the pitch too, so will only get worse you’d imagine with injuries and fatigue)
  10. If that’s the Waltons, who on earth is it with sunglasses on, looks the part like
  11. Be nice to have something for HP. Feel like under all the shambles, he’s not had much. A strong crowd giving him the backing would be nice
  12. I’m baffled - how have we got one across the line, and genuinely, even if he is on paper a good prospect, how will one signing make much difference?
  13. They have had great success, aided by making the correct decisions. people don’t like it, because it’s successful and it’s not the club they support. fair play to them, it’s worked wonders. Championship is another step, but they seem to be gearing up to give it a go.
  14. The starting line up on paper, isn’t genuinely that shabby, we’ve some good players at this level, combined with some youngsters who can do a job. beyond that is the issue, we’ve barely any senior pros so to speak on the bench, we’re relying heavily on young lads, and we really don’t have much scope for actual rotation. as the season goes on, the players get more miles in there legs, there will be suspensions and injuries, and then fixture congestion. it’s going to be a slog. Of which I’ve zero doubt the lads will give it there all, but realistically we are in the championship, deemed one of, if not the hardest division in the world. hopefully we uncover some gems, that can help build a brighter future down the line
  15. In terms of new bodies (if it happens), I see the logic with getting some older heads in. They’ll help navigate what will be a tough ride for the younger lads, and these younger lads who are likely to be around the first team squad, will be able to learn bits from them. that and we have minimal depth too, so a few injury’s / suspensions and we won’t be far off naming our under 21’s, with who knows on the bench. An ideal world would have been taken over early in the summer, stack the squad out with decent free’s and loans, and limit the amount of players we’ve had to let go. Unfortunately we are in anything but an ideal world, so at this stage, a body is a body
