  1. He's a Windass regen I reckon. He does strike a ball as well as anyone we've had in a long long time
  2. Thanks. I agree that was the case before admin but not heard if it still is or not
  3. So basically, come out of administration and we can sign frees and loans (with no loan fee) Anyone know if that embargo prevents us offering contracts to young players now, Aloa and Grainger specifically? I assume they'll have to wait until we exit administration too
  4. When it suits is one thing but when we've had the worst calendar year of home football in living memory, have nothing to play for, never score, will have an incompetent ref and had a very disappointing derby outing less than a week ago and have also lost since then it's another thing entirely The hope was that we would sell a lot of the 4 match packs before the Blades game because that performance was a kick in the teeth for a lot of fans. The fans have been incredible this season but eventually they will start to find better things to do with their saturday afternoon than watch us pass the ball around at the back, hit the first man with every corner and then concede on 65 minutes every match because every opponent brings on 3 subs at 60. I get that the squad and manager have very limited resources to work with and the EFL have questions to answer there but at some point we need to stop playing such slow, turgid football and start playing some blood and thunder football at home. The results aren't going to get fans in so the style of football has to
  5. The rules were the rules before we broke them. Fair cop, points deductions should happen, embargos should happen. The only decisions I have issue with are that they prevented us signing other loans with zero wages and zero transfer fees. Add another 3 or 4 players of Amass' quality to the squad and we'd be contesting more failure in a properly competitve league. As it is we're barely able to field a squad and the EFL's decision is risking significant injuries to a threadbare squad
  6. I've seen a few people criticising Fusire with snidy little comments. I can only assume you lot are watching different matches to me because he's been one of our better players this season despite his lack of experience and support. One of the very few players in our team who has the pace to play at a high level. The lad's improving every game and did very well in a very tough assignment last night against two very good players down that flank. He'll have a very good career at Championship level or above, easily.
  7. Nah, he definitely pulled/jarred his back with that last ditch tackle Was a great bit of defending that he shouldn't have had to do if the ref had awarded us the free kick a few seconds earlier
  8. Robert Paulson?
  9. I really rate him and if he wasn't having to play 3 positions at once while our centre forward is anonymous and we have no wide players in the team I think he'd look much better Poor bloke is playing as a forward, winger and centre midfield at the same time
  10. The flip side of us not having an established team when we go down is that we've needed a clear out and a fresh start for about 30 years We've limped from one aging squad to the next for a long long time The fee restrictions will hurt but there's about 10 squads' worth of very good premier league youngsters that are released ever summer It's a chance to build a future, I f**cking hope we take it
  11. It's in the daily mail. It's all big whoppers and black shirts
  12. Nilsson Nilsson Nilsson Nilsson Nilsson Nilsson Nilsson Nilsson Not Ugbo Nilsson Nilsson
  13. Absolute club legend. Can cover the entire back line and half of midfield. Has a fantastic injury track record, lives local, loves the club, is respected by the young players, would do wonders to help bring a young team through. I also reckon he'd take a reduced wage and stay on to become our all time highest appearance maker
  14. Yep, Valery on the right in front of Palmer or Fusire and Amass on the left in front of Lowe in a 4-4-2 has to be worth a try. Reminiscent of when Lee and Helan moved forward under Stuart Gray and we became much more solid
  15. There's no further downside to us having them. We're done anyway. Any more we get now are to let the rest of the league know that they still apply those penalties for what the muppet did. Deterrant as intended
