  1. Upper Lepp. Up there with the best days ever!
  2. Herman Goering was big and famous
  3. Alan Finney and Albert Quixall, my first Wednesday heroes. Sad day. RIP Alan, thanks for the memories.
  4. Best of luck with your future young man. It pains me to say this, but you’re better off out of this farce. Would have loved to see you score in front of the Kop!
  5. Your memory is fine. Remember being in those horrible cages behind the goal that day.
  6. Yeah, must be great in Chansiri world
  7. Sadly,I don’t think he’s aware of much, and views his customers with contempt.
  8. So did me and my wife, sat in the north and a few round about us gave us pelters…………………. wife soon sorted them out!
  9. Totally agree, funniest thread on here for ages. Spit my coffee out twice now!
  10. This is exactly the reason I have never created an original post, and I don't expect that to change anytime soon Not a fan of public humiliation and derision
  11. In my ancient brain it was Fantham is better than Eusebio ,and it wasn't just the Blades who were going to get the thrashing,it was flexible to the team we were facing on the day.
  12. He becomes Chris Wood |Turner
  13. Let’s call it for what it is. Crap.
  14. Don't see the connection between our expectations and the team's performance over the last 24 years?
  15. Thanks for posting that. Brings back some great memories.
  16. Norman Curtis, started his run up around the centre spot!
  17. Sorry, definite no from me . Wrong blue. Wrong stripe width. White back Away kit is going to have to be pretty special to restore my whelm. If it’s not black shorts I’ll need to be placed on suicide watch. (Only joking)
  18. Pretty much,yeah
  19. Agree that Atkinson’s football was easier on the eye at times, but Wilkinson’s sides made one proud to be a Wednesdayite I loved how we pressured the “top” sides, never giving them a breather, sprinting down the tunnel for the second half. Jumped out of a tackle?-you won’t play for me again, son. I’m pleased about Howard’s honour, more deserved than Fabricant’s knighthood anyway.
  20. Agree100% Talk about”pull the ladder up Jack,I’m alright “
