  1. Fyi fees for most Xmas markets are about 500 per day, plus power at 200 per day, plus staff, vans, accommodation if needed, stock costs, insurance etc, then VAT and tax on anything left. They have to overcharge but sadly we all have less and less disposable ourselves. Seen it from both sides and it's soul destroying to have people ridicule you for charging what you need to charge. Just a general observation here, not necessarily applicable.
  2. It's meant respectfully, but you're right to educate people. The applause seems to be for the last post.
  3. So BST +1. (Or is it minus one?).
  4. Whatever it is I'm sure it will be great, but I'd love it to be a communal buying of tickets to donate. Money straight to the club. Pack the stadium. Get a few kids hooked.
  5. Yeah I'm sure the 'no' wasn't a no to getting money to the club, but maybe they just prefer another method eg buying tickets to donate (it wasn't me btw, but I'm sure it wouldn't be a negative 'no'.
  6. Is the plan to just give this money to the club as a straight donation? Or for Owlstalk to sponsor a player with the funds?
  7. I would enjoy a total meltdown rant.
  8. I would do anything to save my club, but I draw line at a wet bottom.
  9. A return to form for the gaffer.
  10. Because Hove and Brighton are still two distinct places, and pre existed the combined city, but the city is Brighton and Hove. The Amex is at the very eastern edge of Brighton. Hove is to the west of Brighton.
  11. He's changed his name to 'Guest lurkingowl'.
  12. I don't think they'll be any arguments or fights, and I think it will be taken part in by 100% of away fans.
