  1. Agree with all of this, but most Sky Blue fans would credit Vivash with the success on the pitch. It all fell apart for Robins when he and Vivash had a big fallout.
  2. Said on here for years that they would be the next Brighton/Brentford. All down to terrific recruitment and knowing when to sell on and reinvest, together with a smart owner (Norwich supporter btw) who engaged with the fan base and the city from day one. moving back to the city after being forced to play at Northampton and Brum gave them the impetus and goodwill to take advantage of, which they have in spades. Just like Wednesday should have done post Wembley. Pains me as I live and work with Cov fans but I’ve said all season they would win the league by a country mile.
  3. Rafael Floro? Christ, I have absolutely no recollection of him whatsoever.
  4. You could never doubt Thompson's attitude. Didn't reach the heights we were expecting, but it wasn't for lack of effort.
  5. Coventry won't be a "generic championship team" for much longer. They've been steadily and impressively building for a few years now and will win the championship by a country mile this season.
  6. Keep for league 1. He’s the new Patterson isn’t he.
  7. This might be a challenge
  8. Agreed. Made some decent saves, but the second was very saveable
  9. Grainger from the under 17s you mean. Come on, he might be a fantastic prospect, but he would get destroyed in the championship.
  10. Steve Bracknell
  11. We’re slowly getting the 70’s owl back aren’t we ….
  12. And Wilder will still be telling his believers that Baz earns more than half of his squad put together
  13. This’ll be the fifth visit to the third division in my time watching Wednesday and we’ve never come back up at the first time of asking, despite plenty of “HMPTL” type optimism for all but one of the previous times if I recall. I doubt this time will be any different, regardless of what happens in the summer.
  14. Getting back on the coach straight after the match where we were told tickets could only be purchased together with official coach travel, only to hear dozens of Owls chanting at us “we’re gonna get pi**ed, you’re not” as they headed into town
