  1. Poor bait. Worth noting 17,000 fans have already paid for this season and the current custodian still can’t pay wages on time and in full; and hasn’t been able to since taking those millions of pounds.
  2. Tough one as some seats get released closer to kick off. I think it’s c. 17,000 STH this season & c. 28,800 seats available in total. But I think around 1,000 of them are closed off sale until sales reach a certain numbers. Add in players tickets for family & friends. Based on the above, I reckon sales could be as little as 50!!
  3. Depends how you look at it. The sooner the current custodian has gone, the sooner those hard working & loyal employees can look forward to actually getting paid on time and in full. Whilst he’s here, they’re in limbo.
  4. No idea, it was suggested during the summer that clubs, including us, received a grant for grass roots stuff and academy upgrades at Middlewood was funded with that.
  5. I'm a raging mess because I've been attending Wednesday games most of my life. I'm recovering during this period of absence!
  6. Just started watching, thanks for posting @keefdave! Only a few mins in and now surprised he didn't go to Wrexham given his grandad played for them.
  7. Possibly got new turf laid and paid for with a grant? I can't imagine the club paid for it given the current financial issues.
  8. Those clubs aren’t protesting at the away games, with support from the home team, agiants their owner though, and that’s why the media keep reporting on it. I don’t see it happening week after week if the away stands are empty - it would have initial impact and then that’s it IMO. I think that regular publicity at away games is worth the £20k - or whatever the figure is - over all the away games so far. We’ve established it’s peanuts in footballing terms, yet it’s generating media coverage every game, which is essential in keeping the pressure on. Sometimes there is a greater good, and our away support is helping keep our plight relevant. That’s worth a week of Bazza’s salary every 2/3 months IMO. People buying beer and pies at Hillsborough achieves feck all for the cause in getting the current custodian out, so I don’t see them as remotely comparable. I speak as someone who won’t be going home or away whilst the current custodian is here, too.
  9. Novelty will wear off. Plenty of clubs only bring a coach load to Hillsborough and it doesn't make the news!
  10. It is in football terms, yes, it is pennies. All our away 'profit' so far this season probably covers Baz for a week. Protests away from home and support from the home fans continues to create media attention. Not sure that would happen if we kept away ends empty. Don't recall saying coffers into the home support was a priority.
  11. Factor in the home teams are helping support our cause and keeping our situation in the media, I think the pennies the current custodian 'makes' on away tickets is worth it for the good it does the protests. Add, we may not get support from other clubs if we refuse to take the allocation and therefore costing them money in the process. Completely different to boycotting anything in our own stadium IMO.
  12. Given there is talk Man Utd are about to be purchased by the Saudis, I don't think the IRF will be too bothered about that aspect of the game.
  13. Given how the clubs finances have become over the past 6/7 months, I think they'll struggle to get a merchant who will accept card payment for next seasons season tickets. Can see PayPal telling them to get stuffed this time round, so it could be cash only. Hopefully, the EFL prevents such early sales when it's now crystal clear the club has been front loading.
  14. Take it you've never been to Glasgow? It's not still like the Gorbals and ship building industry of yesteryear!!
  15. That's what was reported. Wasn't there, only seen the videos and it looks about right.
