  1. Ask the trust. All I can say is they have a working party looking good into options. What that means in practice is have no idea.
  2. They won't. The players have said so. The staff might take industrial action but I doubt it. It's down to the fans to starve him of money.
  3. I think they have deliberately held off sanctions so as to not put buyers off the club. My interpretation is they are trying their best but are somewhat limited by their rules. They now appear to have given up hope of DC selling and are moving to turn up the pressure on him with points deductions. Reading between the lines of the Trust/EFL meeting they are telling us admin/winding up order is on its way as DC can't pay HMRC.
  4. Who knows. We've never been in that situation before. The EFL can scrap those results or award 3 points for all the games we don't play. Do you want to get chucked out of the league to find out? In the very recent meeting between the trust and EFL. The EFL did say that is the sanctions they could/would apply if fans got matches abandoned. Go read it, it's one of the last things discussed. Don't doubt they are serious, the integrity of their league is their ultimate responsibility.
  5. You will inconvenience them into chucking us out of the league.
  6. I suspect the IDC will be influenced by the evidence provided by the EFL. A quite word to the IDC behind closed doors and off the record might occur. Not saying it will but I know it happens in other industries on the QT.
  7. You have no way of knowing that. (the bit in bold) You are right though, that the IFR removing DC and winding up will be a close run thing.
  8. If you do that the EFL have only 1 option and that is to chuck the club out of the league. I can't see they would have any other option. That is the death of the club as we know it and I seriously do not want that to happen. I want DC gone, not the club. Before you rush into getting all our games abandoned you should at least give the IFR a chance to do something. It might work, it might not, but at least give it a chance if you love the club. I know there are people saying the IFR won't work, they don't know, none of us do. It might work and that is the last option, not getting us thrown out of the league. I just don't see what you gain by getting all our games abandoned, yes it cut's off DC 's funding, but at the cost of killing the club. I know DC is doing that but let's not give him a helping hand.
  9. I interpret it as move the ball forwards (or backwards?) not side to side and don't just hoof it. OK I'm sure it's more involved than than but I'm a bit simple.
  10. Don't go to away cup games then. Simple.
  11. Does it matter in the big scheme of things this season. We are just waiting for the points deduction to be announced, that will relegate us for sure whatever team we pick. Getting rid of DC is all that matters this season, without that the death spiral will continue.
  12. Just the type of player we need at present....an expensive one.
  13. Not a bad start to a L1 team. If DC is still here Charles will be sold, Bernard, Valery and Cadamarteri as well. Baz and Palmer will stick around if they are allowed to even if it's on a wage deduction.
  14. Fantastic news. At least we will have a star striker for the next few years.
  15. I don't have any interest in football other than Wednesday. I may watch England at major tournaments sometimes but other than that it's Wednesday only. Living 120 miles away and having some health issues I don't get to games other than the odd ones that are relatively local but I have watched games on Ifollow religiosly for a long time. I do have sympathy for those who never miss a real in the flesh game and I'm in no position to criticise them wanting to go to games. I do think these are exceptional times and that our priority should be to concentrate all our efforts on getting him out of the club. If you possibly can boycott please do so. This season is dead already, the games don't matter in the slightest in the big scheme of things. In a few years saying you went to all the games in this period will bring derision rather than respect. The ones who boycotted games will be the true fans. They were there for the club in it's hour of need.
