  1. It makes no sense does it that Chansiri can’t see that even if he hangs on through January and/or manages to beat a regulator in courts, he will be left with a football club with hardly any fanbase and no income coming from them. Which means the club will eventually close down
  2. Indeed this is what i was saying yesterday, other EFL clubs can be annoyed if our sanctions are reduced/relaxed, but we are on the verge of extinction. As you say, this isn't like a typical situation where a club has a full playing squad of senior players, and gets hit with a points deduction. Whilst its owners are paying wages & bills etc. Our present owner is putting no money into the club and its going to die. We need all the football community to appreciate we need help here.
  3. You do have to pray that what they are telling potential buyers in confidence may be slightly different, regarding sanctions being relaxed. But from what Textor said, and those who can't be named on here anymore, it sounds like its one of the main things putting people off spending £40m+ to buy the club.
  4. Yep that's probably linked to what Textor was saying about it being very complicated and discussing it with the league. No doubt investors want assurances they will be able to buy players rather than spend £40m+ to own a club and they can't bring their own players in. EFL saying it will go to a tribunal and they can't guarantee the outcome, cheers for that.
  5. Just feels like nothing is happening all the time.
  6. Well, that's a depressing read. Confirms EFL can't do anything, so we are going to need the Regulator to get him out
  7. Fair enough, i didn't word my post very well as i meant Beevers had a decent championship career, whereas Talbot was only ever in league 1, 2 and non league. And my main point was i thought Beevers would become good enough to be a premier league player.
  8. With Joao I don’t think it helped his development by being in and out the team at 23 and being replaced by the likes of Winnall and Rhodes. Who you could argue didnt bring more to the team than Joao used to Once he went to reading and was a starting player he was really good. And I believe got linked with prem move to Fulham at the time
  9. Beevers is a good shout, I remember being at the Southampton game when he made his debut and he was 17 or 18 and looked physically ready despite his young age. To be fair he did have a decent EFL career, unlike some youngsters who really sunk. Like Morrison or Talbot.
  10. A bit like those who say wednesday aren’t a big club just because they haven’t been in the top flight for 25 years. Never mind the fact our fanbase is huge and the cr*p owners are to blame for our failure. And Rangers aren’t a big club coz they’ve only won one title in the past 14 years. Or maybe, it’s because they haven’t had the right managers and player recruitment. Things could change for them if they made better decisions
  11. Expecting Brighton to make a move for him in January
  12. I think its pretty clear he's talking about the regulator's steps for all clubs, not just Wednesday. When issues arise, the regulator will try and help the owner resolve them, if that can't happen they will have the owner removed. It would be a pretty shocking state of affairs if they just start kicking owners out straight away without trying to understand the reasons behind the issues and seeing if they can help fix them
  13. This ^ new owners can appoint new managers and sign new players. We can’t do anything with Chansiri as owner
