Takeover to be completed in next couple of months
selbyowls replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
A smart investor would wait while the club goes in administration get the club for next to nothing. Don't buy the ground as it is a separate company, needs millions spending on it,on a flood plane and the land is basically worthless.Use that money towards the cost to build a new ground. Sheffield council and south Yorkshire mayor would be obligated to give any permission ect.Play at Doncaster Rovers ground( near motorway and loads of trains and buses)until new ground is built. -
Chansiri is IN TALKS to sell SWFC
selbyowls replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Let chancer keep the ground. Flood plane. Disrepair which would cost millions to put reyt. Disaster stigma that's not going away. -
Manchester United.Manchester city. Liverpool and Everton let Bury burn. Premiership clubs are a disgrace. Ok

Biggest club in championship
selbyowls replied to Safcfaninpeace's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
The Wednesday formed 1820. As a cricket club. Saw an article after Crystal palace somehow won the fa cup that there history went back to 1861! -

Ugbo fault we not in top 6. Nothing to do with our on loan keeper. Lack of quality central defenders. Ageing captain. Lack of signings ect.
-
very negative. Obviously aimed at ugbo.

Haven't posted for years but please stop this anti Hugbo theme. Decision was made for him to take the penalty to get his eye in, sadly it didn't work but imagine if it had.Its probably best if we don't get in play offs this time so can plan for next season. Some reyt idiots on here. Some Wednesday fans think they know more than our excellent manager and esteemed captain. WAWAW

Don't think we should move outside Sheffield. However West Ham United moved despite opposition. https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-soccer-england-stadium-orient/orient-join-spurs-in-olympic-stadium-protest-idUKTRE73D3I420110414

Shows the state of the club record signing, don't play to suit JR and wonder why he doesn't score. Goes to Norwich City and back to his goal to minutes played ratio. -
If the club is put up for sale what value would any championship club be worth to any potential buyer now the big 5 premiership clubs are rumoured to be in talks to leave and join a euro super league. The promised land of the premiership with the tv money would potentially go. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/nov/02/five-english-clubs-named-in-super-league-plan-chelsea-manchester-city-united-arsenal-liverpool
