  1. Was such a shock hearing this. Mark was a good friend and a bigger owls fan you could not find. Spent some good times in his company and was lucky to be invited to his home in Eyam for a bit of a do. What really saddens me is he died with Wednesday in the state that it is. It would have broke his heart (literally) the state of the club at the moment. Bless you friend. Sleep well x
  2. Well he’s living at Dore so the Peak District is right on his doorstep
  3. Probably by people who never go to away games, or even home games
  4. The Welsh sure know how to sing a national anthem.
  5. I’d love to know how you worked that one out
  6. Personally I don’t support the boycotting of away games for one simple reason The publicity we get along with the support from the home teams fans (spreading the word) far outweighs the few quid per ticket that swfc receives. Im going to Charlton but I don’t usually go to away games much, just in case anyone was thinking that’s why I don’t support a boycott. Just my opinion
  7. True story. When Brackley did the channel 4 commentary on Italian footy, Sundays, he did it from YTV studios in Leeds. He used to fly up to Manchester on Sunday mornings (think he lived in Brighton) and my mate had the job of collecting him from the airport
  8. Why haven’t you responded to the posts referencing other times he hasn’t paid the wages on time, before this season?
  9. So how many do we reckon have been sold? Don’t we have about 18k STs? That’s 29,000 seats with the unsold ones - surely we’ve hardly sold any?
  10. So on a similar thought…. if all ST holders boycotted the home games, that’d actually save money for DC cos he wouldn’t need stewards, turnstiles and police. So should it be a tor boycott at home, or not?
  11. They were also a very big payer in shirt sponsorship
  12. The away support debate is going round and round and round, it’s getting tiresome. Yes it puts a very very small amount in DCs pocket for every ticket sold. But in the grand scheme of things it’s minuscule. The boycott at home is working, it’s starving DC of a lot of cash. IMO the players deserve the away support they get, after all it’s like a morgue playing at home ATM
  13. I won’t be going. I am however going to Charlton, my first away game this season. My conscience is completely clear too.
  14. Why punish other teams? PNE will make a lot of money when we’re in town, a proud old club with good supporters. Why should we hurt them financially?
  15. Pies have been excellent for a few years now
  16. I dunno mate. I think there’s a big number that won’t.
  17. All midweek games are on Sky+
