There are going to be more fans through the gate. As Wigfield has stated on more than one occasion, the average number of SWFC fans attending home fixtures this season is in the region of 17k. So, by lowering the ticket prices, lots more fans are turning out for the Norwich game - circa 10k more! All factors considered, I don’t think we can really grumble at this can we.

Yeah my thoughts exactly! Looking at the stadium plan, the kop looks very busy. The blocks that are still open only have odd seats, the rest are restricted view or severely restricted view. Kop sales are usually a good barometer of the expected attendance. If it’s busy in the Kop, it’s likely to be a pretty big crowd.

Why are we so sure the sales look poor? To me, the average 24 hour sales volume is pretty decent. And, there’re still 3 days to go.
