You’re probably right but in reality we don’t nurture young talent then integrate them in to the team. When was the last time that happened? They go on loan then we release them or they leave anyway. Currently we are in a position where we don’t have depth so we may as well use Cadz Brown, McNeil etc and see if they can make the grade. For me it’s better than persevering with Ugbo, Lowe etc.

For me that will show if they are ready for the step up. Time and time again we so you lads playing in the first team. We have had Charles, Brown, Weaver all step up. Amass looks better than the Senior pro's. At what age should they be ready 21, 23 25? If they are loaned out to league 2 they would be playing in a more physical league.

Now is the time to play the young lads to assess if they are good enough to be part of the re-build. In that respect performances are important, not so much the results.

It's a hard one for the new owners, they don't want to waste 12 months gambling they will want to hit the road running. Pederson is a unknown quantity for them, imagine if Jos or Xisco had just come in and 'didn't have the tools'. I think the fans have a repour with him and appreciate what he's done but the owners will have a different view without our sentiment. I hope he gets a crack at it, he deserves it but I worry that new owners will see it differently.

You can be a poor player and still score 6, 7, and 8's on the the reviews. These marks are given for effort and doing the basics. The fact most got scored 3, 4, and 5's tells it's own story and has nothing to do with how poor they are. That said they need our support as this is our squad for the foreseeable.

I think all leagues salaries should be capped. It may suit us in league one but we've complained about parachute payments in the championship and no doubt in 3 years when we are in the Prem we would moan about the Cities, Chelsea's etc. If wages were capped players would choose clubs for footballing reasons and not financial gain, hopefully making it more competitive.

The irony is that if it was the away game they would snatch their hands off for it.

That's the answer a different emergency keeper every week.

That's the main thing for me. We shouldn't be falling out over this as everyone thinks they are doing the right thing and eventually he'll be gone and we have to move on together. I have friends that are the same and to be fair not as passionate as me so they just turn up as normal.
