  1. Pain is temporary Memories last forever
  2. Interesting. Mine has cutlery in a separate removable rack. Great for unloading it. I can take it over to the cutlery draw to empty it.
  3. Glad it's not just me with the kits. Had to go and get my good glasses.
  4. Looks like Wellington Square in Leeds, with the old railway tower wagon hoist. ....recognised the window straight away.
  5. Shocking news. This just highlights the whole process doesnt work. Clubs need protection.
  6. Think we were on match of the day once in the 90s. ....or maybe not. It was a while ago, so difficult to remember exactly.
  7. Michael Reddy curling in from outside the area in whatever the Papa Johns Paint Vans trophy was called, against Barnsley in around 2003. Sublime. He had nice hair.
  8. Yes!! As a kid used to go out the day on train with parents. No matter where we went, finding a tele in a shop window to see the scores happened at full time. Carlisle, Cardiff, whereever. Weird I can remember exactly where I was when I found out results from specific Wednesday matches in the early 90s.
  9. Graham Hyde at the The urinal. Ps. That's not a pub in Donny.i used to collect glasses at the working men's club his dad was involved with.
  10. Glen Roeder & Adam Pearson in management positions. Both saw the ice berg very early on
  11. I enjoyed the documentary. Though it seemed more enjoyable when they were just getting out of non-league. They just kind of expect it now. I can see why some other clubs fans dislike them, but I'm sure they'd all love to have jumped on that train. Potential goldmine with sponsorship and brands wanting to be part of it. Surely that will only grow on Champ/Prem. Global audience, massive social media potential. The tik-tok thing alone will surely be huge to a lot of brands. By the way, I'm sure Fletcher came and sat on the next bench to me down the Chesterfield canal the other week. Tattoos, scottish accent, hair in a bun. The dog took a dislike to him so I had to go. The dog is very racist. Doesnt like the Welsh or the Scots.
  12. Didn't Blinker get banned at one point for technically signing for two teams at once?
  13. You cant beat that walk past the gents, up the little steps and then the longer slope with more steps through the foliage until you reach the back door of the ladies toilets. then past the queue for the grub, up the stairs a bit more.
  14. First season back in top fligh. Division One this would be? I wasn't at the match. I was 10 at the time. But I remember watching the vidi printer in the shop window of a Rumelows in Cardiff. We often went out on the train for the day on a Saturday but come 4.30 my dad always made sure we found a shop window that had the scores on. You don't get that anymore. But I always remember a crowd round the window wherever we ended up watching the scores come in.
  15. And didn't Michael Reddy score a curler in the last minute if extra time in some LDV vans game ?
  16. I actually think I'm looking forward to a nice pressure free end to the season. If we get int he play offs, so be it. It's all a bonus to me. Great to be just in with a shout at the end of Jan. After the end of season for the last 4 years at least - I'd have snapped your hand off at a boring/safe last 10 games
  17. Just to be in the mix is fantastic and way above my estimations for this season. If we can keep the pressure on, then let's see what happens. Just to keep the dream alive for as long as possible is brilliant.
  18. John Oster for Grimsby. 17 year old in about 1996
  19. Didnt he get a last minute winner against Barnsley too? I can vivedly still hear 75% of the ground chanting his name.
  20. Can we stop highlighting stuff like this please Trying to keep a low profile here
  21. Great era. Happy memories. By the way. I also had a massive soft spot for Peter Atherton. Looking back, I dont know why.
  22. That kit !!! I loved that era. So innocent looking back. Football just so different back then. I love how Hirsty celebrated literally as it left his head. I didn't go to this game. We had some other family commitment, but I remember the moment I picked up the green un to see the result.
  23. In at number 3 - Jon Beswetherick. Cant defend, but makes the top 3 for hitting the crossbar against Salilbury City in that FA Cup match.
  24. Hahaha Steve Harkness and Francesco Sanetti errrrr. Craig Armstrong.
