  1. Yea absolutely right and my original post hopefully made that point clear. Wasn't a moan at the outset but seems to have been misconstrued! Up the owls
  2. Yea fair point about renewals. Maybe new ownership will do that. Be a great idea if they did and I'm sure it would be well supported. But like you say, now is the time for us to pack it out irrespective.
  3. Not suggesting you should be penalised at all. It's simply a suggestion that the 'members price' for the 4 games be extended to those few thousand who voted with their feet and gave up their season tickets in the hope it would speed along his exit. I will (and have) paid the going rate always and will do the 80 quid without an issue! I was simply making a suggestion was all. It might also ensure a sell out for the 4? And as for early bird...whatever...I'll be getting mine and the kids and if I pay over what a renewer does so be it. We all want the same thing. A healthy and forward moving Wednesday. People have unsurprisingly taken my idea and twisted it into something it isn't but...that's social media I guess
  4. Always first to the bar 'the dog'. Son of a brewery man. You'd be in pocket by a long stretch. Was simply a point and an idea. Seems the easy 'jokes' are de rigeur as opposed to engaging with the reasoning
  5. You've missed the point entirely
  6. Not a moan. Just a suggestion. And likewise, done all of the above apart from the membership. Also donated to the fundraisers. Anyhow, I'll keep ploughing money in. Thought it would be a nice gesture for that few thousand who said enough is enough and meant it to get that little bit back but hey, seems it doesn't make any sense to anyone else!
  7. The reasoning is as mentioned. We all follow this club. A good number have reneged on spending for good reason. Some did so years ago, some did so in the summer to try and speed up the process of 'him' leaving. Like I said, I'll be paying the 80 quid ANYWAY. My suggestion is for the 3,4,5 thousand wednesdayites who will clearly be on the system as having given up their season tickets to be afforded the same deal. I genuinely think it's a logical suggestion. If it doesn't happen then no big deal. I feel I've raised a valid point but clearly not felt by anyone else
  8. You're hilarious. Knew that mention of the word 'gripe' would provide the responses it has. Nice work
  9. This makes absolutely no sense??
  10. As long as you all got to the Middlesbrough game and kept up your 100 percent records
  11. Responses as expected. I feel so far removed from our 'fan base' sometimes
  12. First of all let me preface this with how happy I am about all of the positivity surrounding the club even though we aren't out of the woods. Let me also say how great Kris Wigfield comes across. A professional and lovely bloke who clearly loves the club and wants the best for it as we all do. My post is regarding the 4 match package and a possible oversight ( in my opinion). Many of us have foregone our season tickets this season (some did so last season and even before as we all know) as our way of trying to speed up the exit of DC. I will pay the 80 quid in the kop no problem and will also bring my kids but...those of us who made a stand ( and don't have a membership (why would we when we go every week)) are now paying more (albeit still a great deal) than those who renewed and members (maybe those who live miles away etc etc). Maybe the club (admin team) can reward those that gave up their season tickets and have foregone that weekly social and joy with the same deal? I had to explain to 3 young kids why we were no longer going and they understood. I've been back ever since he went, have spent 3 figures in the club shop and will continue this as hopefully many will continue to do. Not a gripe but a genuine suggestion and one I feel makes sense...
  13. Looks like the total they want to raise has now been upped significantly. Nearly at 20!!
