The thing I can’t get is what’s the end game? We’ve got more Americans interested in the game, wanting to take over clubs, wanting to be top of the pile So we get to a point where every club in PL has foreign ownership - then what? There’s still those going down, underperforming etc - not everyone can win. So what’s the end to it all? We could all be owned by rich Arabs and rich US investors - the current system means relegation still happens, unless it becomes a closed shop.
