Completely agree - it’s what fans should debate..and agree with all of the post above - on the pitch is just about irrelevant this season. Be good if people didn’t take the pitch stuff so seriously mind…but we’re all different eh

I think I get the sentiment of the OP… but really…it’s never been more apparent -until recent months- that the emotive state of our fanbase has had feckall influence on how the club is run on and off the pitch. think we agree the club needs to be run in the manner of a successful business, as much as football clubs can be…but if I was picking out successful models, the attribute of ruthlessness wouldn’t be the first thing to spring to mind. and as you say, WAWAW

Not about sentiment is it tho… OP states fact..and imo you can’t gloss over that. There will have been a plan, they did try - but I didn’t work and we’re not very good. Add to that some of them haven’t played in an atmosphere like that, or had that weight of expectation before - and you get nerves and poor performance. and just to add to what might be in their heads, most of m will be shown the door when we’re sold

Very rarely, if at all jumped on digging a player… …but, watched him a lot when he came on and gotta say, appears to lack effort, movement and the simple desire that the others are putting in. Actually looked like he was trying to avoid the ball on a number of occasions. big one for staff on how to motivate him…he’s not gonna get the crosses pinging in like before - so gotta find another way. (Or not if he can’t be arsed)…

Genuinely don’t get it… big crowd n everyone seems to forget we’ve got a few L1 senior players plus others who’ve not done it anywhere near this level before… owt but a battering by any championship side this season - is a win. some reyt tools round us berating players - unberfeckinlievable..

One of his best contributions was being used to replicate Lee Sharp’s wing threat to help the legend that is Roland prepare for the final in 91… can remember thinking - am not sure how much that’s gonna help

Completely agree it’s on Dafc**t… But…the EFL could do something if it wanted - but it’s become accepted that it can’t. Through its corporate governance, it could propose regulation changes to deal with situations like ours; but it hasn’t. Its existing Articles of Association, Memorandum of Association and Regulations are designed to enable changes - in fact it wouldn’t take a huge leap to make the existing regulations work for our situation. But it is seen as unlikely (by many) that the members i.e. the club owners, would vote such changes through. This is the key issue. if the regulator wasn’t on the horizon - far more pressure would have come on the EFL to change its Regulations.

Possibly the most depressing 30mins - likely more of what’s to come eh… How do you raise your game playing at a club in this situation… Imagine if it were you at work , not getting paid, not good enough staff, and zero prospects of success…
