  1. I’m sure Lowe is in the background saying it should have been me.
  2. He looks a stone overweight to me. If he’s only signed till Jan he’s probably come in to up his match fitness for the shop window in Jan.
  3. He’s been on it for 18 month already.
  4. It looked like him and pederson were having words at full time. Pederson went to talk to him as Baz was applauding fans and it looked like Baz was having a go at him. Played fantastic tonight. Was good seeing him further up the pitch not at left back as he’s drifting into last few games.
  5. That was the performance we wanted and should have got Sunday. But for whatever reason we froze. Enough said about it though now. Keep playing like that and we’re not going to disgrace ourselves, very workmanlike performance as a team.
  6. I can’t believe he actually got a shot on target. I can see a Jeremy Kyle episode coming soon.
  7. I sort of disagree with this. Last season only bannan, valery and sometimes ingleson would be starters in the championship. Yeah they’ve played a lot of games in the league but most last season weren’t good enough for the job. I’m sure Röhl made comments to this. So realistically we’re starting bench warmers a year after they were deemed not good enough.
  8. How about the free header inside the 6 yard box at Charlton that hit his back. yes we don’t create a lot, but when did his pressing force a mistake and turn over possession, never. I don’t think anyone expects 30 goals a season but if he was a bit more Michael Smith / Pato he would get a lot more respect.
  9. I think first and foremost you have to keep yourself in the game. And I think Pederson has to take some blame in that. The constant playing about at the back when we’re awful in possession isn’t all down to the players, the not keeping one up front at set pieces isn’t down to the players either, the pumping it long to the centre half’s, It’s down to his philosophy. We can’t play out so why not hit the channels and try and push up the pitch. Sitting back playing one twos in our own box before giving it to Hovarth so he can pass it to back to them isn’t a new thing. It’s been happening all season, yes we have a poor team a very poor team. But you have to play with what you’ve got.
  10. I think me and many Wednesday fans want the same. We can’t compete with them lot on quality. We should be able to compete on work rate and desire. Both were missing today, the least we expect from football fans is effort. We shrunk, really really disappointed with the effort on display. Our season was over in August and the points cemented that. But today was all about trying to give the fans a little bit of joy. They all let us down today and should be ashamed.

  12. I’d rather take the 15 points than give him anything. I know it goes against the grain to write another season off but if it meant him getting nothing after what he’s done to the fan base then it’s just collateral damage. With the money we don’t pay him we could then pay the other creditors In full.
  13. I’m sorry. But if otegbayo follows that up it’s still 0-0
  14. Hi all, i dont know if any of you remember but local plumber paul ballington did a xmas song for sheffield childrens charity. Well hes now done a wednesday song. Pretty catchy i think. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_8l8qjE3njA&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D_8l8qjE3njA
  15. Coventry away 2006?? Lost 3-1, wade small and chris brunt sent off, but as an atmosphere one of best away games ive ever been to.
  16. Also why were palace singing hark now hear last night?
  17. Hirsty Shezza Waddle Nilsson Pressman Walker Pretty much all the early 90's team for me, as growing up They were my heroes. Oh the good days
  18. Weve not had a kids for a quid for a while and wanting to get the nephews down and into wednesday. Anyone know when next event is happening?
  19. If i gave you a million pound and you spent it all and went bankrupt would it be my fault? No itd be your fault for spending it. Its the same with clubs. They all want to progress, which is how it should be but they all over spend to try and get sucess. Id hope if we ever get back to the promised land we just take the money and run
  20. Had to laugh at this. How can you say you cant live off what happened in the past e.g madine LAST season. but then you say sidibe scored a hat full the season stoke were promoted to the prem. which is also in the past and alot lot longer ago
  21. Stoke i believe. Had bad injury problems a few years ago and is now behind crouch. Owen. Etc at stoke so not playing much. Hes far to good for us we wouldnt stand a chance
  22. We still need what we needed in the summer. 5/6 quality signings. 2x centre halfs, a box to box midfielder, a left footed winger that can actually cross, a quick striker, and a goalscorer. Thats a minimum i think personally we also need a midfielder who can get hold of the ball and dictate play, a left back that doesnt make mistakes and a big striker with skill, pace and can score E.g kenwayne. But its not going to happen
  23. Remember. Penos, tap ins, free kicks, losses against teams at the top of the league dont count
  24. It shudnt have even come to a peno. He shud of pulled the trigger. That was his chance to prove to us why hes worth the wage bill and the lad bottled it. But since the peno was given how he stayed on the pitch is beyond me. I just assumed a Watford player was covering. Was hard to see on back row of kop
